Rude, Pathetic attitude & unethical behavior, worst customer services We did visit McDavid Honda at Irving to buy a pre-owned Accord and had one of the worst experience of our lives. The salesman himself was OK but his manager (Ronnie) was a total jerk and extremely rude. He basically told us that we don t deserve to buy a car. Being a customer we have the right to quote the price as per our budget. He ... view moresaid that our offer was too low even if went out to buy the same car from a private party. I am fine with that statement of his and maybe our offer was low. However, he went on to say that we had no sense in buying a car and that if we wanted to waste the time of his salesmen we shouldn t bother coming there. The way he talked to me and my wife, we felt very insulted. We were not putting a gun to his head to give us the car for our price, if it doesn t work for him and we could have simply agreed to disagree.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND David McDavid Honda of Irving. I exchange several emails (see below) with Gordon Meek and agreed on $32,950.14 (out the door) for a 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L. I went to the dealership to purchase the Odyssey van at the agreed price. Once I arrived and spent over an hour, they told me they couldn`t offer to sell the car on the agreed price. When you show up at the dealership, they try to use aggressive sales tactics to get you to buy the car at a higher price. JUST BUY A CAR OFF THE STREET! - I flew out to Dallas to purchase a car that was promised to be in perfect condition. The sales rep Hector Boone ensured that it had passed 100+ point inspection and that the car was immaculate. I arrive to find the total opposite. The front headlight was completely wet in the inside, the tire pressure light was on, I could hear air coming in through the driver side door as I test drov... view moree the car, and there was a very obvious dent in the driver side door. Hector assured me that the light would be fixed, the dent would be worked on and the pressure light would go off after I drove the car. None of these panned out to be true. Instead, the dent was not fixed the tire pressure light remained on after being driven and serviced twice, and he blatently lied to me about the light. The headlight issue was the deal breaker! I asked Hector if the water in the light would ever come back if it rained or if I washed the car. He said "No, it will not." Then Hector sent the headlight to be "cleaned out" not repaired. And instruced the detailers to not put any water near the light (because he knew that the water would come back!). Thank God the detailers cleaned the car as they normally would, and when they drove it back to me, the light was filled with water again! Hector was furious and so was I because Hector lied to me, and when I questioned him about it, he left the office. The headlight retaled at $500+ and the sales manager said he could neither replace the light nor discount the car for the price of the light. He then resolved that he would "sneak" and fix it if I drove back to Dallas and went on a date with him. I resolved that I wanted out and wanted to be taken back to the airport or the hotel I had to purchase to wait until the dealership opened. I was out of $536.29 total in travel to come and purchase a problematic car. This is absolutely the most horrible car buying experience I have ever had!

However, my service experience with their service department has at times been far from pleasant. i took my car to this colision center for repairs. in may of 2007 and didnt get it back until september 2007. my car worse than what it started. i would never ever refer this place to anyone, i just wouldn`t want you to go through what i went through. and i still had to get my car fixed at another shop because of their nonsence. horrible experience in customer service
