great tire prices
A friend of mine recommended that I try Lamb`s when he found oud that I wanted to get new tires for my car I went tire shopping at other places but got the best deal at Lambs. I was pleasantly surprised by the deal I got. This is the place to go if you are shopping for tires

Very Disappointed
For a simple oil change or if you don`t care about them changing the price on you, then Lamb`s is okay. However today it the 2nd time I tried them and the 2nd time they went up in the price after being given an estimate and after I`d already left the car with them. The first time they said it was misquoted and went up on the price. Today they said they needed aother part and went up another more than $100. This o... view moref course is after I`ve made arrangements and the car is already there and I`m at work. We take our vehicles to them and have to trust them to fix it correctly and at a fair price. We do what we can and get the estimate and then it goes up. Most of us are busy and can`t take another day and make other arrangements and are stuck with what they say and do. They depend on that. I also dropped my car off and they told me 3 hours. It has now been 6 hours and the car is still not ready. I will not be back to them for anything since I realize the estimate they give me is worthless as well as the time they say the vehicle will be ready.

Unnecessary Work and Horrible Attitude!
""If it`s possible I would give them no stars. In 2005 I had an issue with my car starting. Sometimes it would start and sometimes it wouldn`t. I knew it wasn`t my battery or my alternator, as these had both been checked. I googled it and found that my particular car had a common problem with the crankshaft position sensor failing which resulted in the erratic behavior.I dropped my car off a few days before Chris... view moretmas and told them I wanted the Crankshaft Postion Sensor to be changed. Well I got a call the next day that it was ready. I took 2 buses to get there and when I arrived they told me that I owed over $200 for them fixing something with my distributor cap or something. They never called to let me know that they had decided to go against what I requested.I guess since I`m a girl I didn`t know what I was talking about so they decided to do what they wanted. Maybe I was wrong and this was what was wrong with car, but why didn`t they call? I was irritated, but I wanted to drive home to Houston for Christmas, as i was on a very tight schedule, and I was too tired to argue. I paid the bill and went out to my car. I put in the keys and turned the ignition over. Guess what? It didn`t start. I was so frustrated and when I went back inside, all I got was a horrible attitude and no apology. They then decided to change out the crankshaft position sensor, which took several hours. They told me there wouldn`t be a charge. I had already paid more to have something unnescessary done. I told them I wanted my money refunded back from the original pointless repair and I`d pay for what I had originally asked for. They finally agreed, again without any apologies.
It`s been 2 years and I still haven`t had any problems with the car starting. I guess I was right.
I would definitely suggest going elsewhere. Lamb`s is way overpriced.""

Go to Discount Tire
It has been 3 days since THE INCIDENT and i`m finding more and more people have had horrible experiences with Lamb`s. One friend took his car in because it was shaking and Lamb`s quoted him $3000 for a new transmission. Not being a mechanic but actually having a brain he told Lamb`s to put the car back together so he could have it towed to someone else. Lamb`s who supposedly has a FREE estimate program tried to... view more charge him $65 to put everything back in place!! The guy actually tried to GUILT him into paying by saying his mechanic wouldn`t get paid if he didn`t pay (amazing!!!!!). Turns out the next place charged him $150 to replace a joint of some sort (UV?)....Nothing to do with a transmission.
AVOID LAMBS and you could pay for a nice vacation for you and the family!
