Let me start by saying my husband is a mechanic and he has fixed our cars for years, but when he`s stumped Howard is the man we call. He is precise and efficient. My car had electrical issues and was towed to the shop in the afternoon and it was ready the next day. I will tell everyone this is the place to come for honest and precise auto service.

Howard and Sara Cole are my guardian angels. About a month ago, my car light came on. I have a 2011 Chrysler 200 and approx 49,000 miles on it. I took my car to AutoZone and they ran a code test and the print out stated that the the 6th cylinder was misfiring. The gentleman there said I probably needed a tune up. I took it to the dearlership and told them my engine light was on and they said they would do the tu... view morene up for 300 dollars. Didn`t ask why I wanted one or anything like that. I soon realized they were just trying to get my money and really figure out what the issue was. I decided to take it to another place and they ran a code test too. The guy said I needed a tune up and quoted me at 185 for the labor and asked me to buy all the parts. This just didn`t sound right to me so I jumped in my car and went down the road a ways. I pulled up the Cole`s Auto and Transmission Repair and was greeted by Howard Cole. He asked how he could help me. I asked him if they did tune ups there and he said yes, but asked why I wanted a tune up. I then told him that my engine light was on and that AutoZone hinted that I needed a tune up. Howard asked what kind of vehicle I had and how many miles were on it. I provided the requested information. Howard right away said that he would do a tune up if I wanted one, but he didn`t want me to waste my money because it wasn`t going to fix the issue. He stated that was probably an issue with the ignition coil on the 6th cylinder. He said he would need to take a look at it and run a diagnostics check. Not even 30 minutes later, he came out and said that it was indeed the ignition coil that needed to get replaced and that my car did not need a tune up. Unfortunately, he didn`t have the part. His wife Sara, got on the phone with the dealership and ordered one right away. I was in total awe with their honesty. The other two agencies would have done a tune up and it would not have corrected the issue at hand and my car would have continued acting up. When the part came in... Sara gave me a call, I took the car in and it was fixed within an hour and a half. We need more people like Howard and Sara in this world!! They are good people and will treat you like a neighbor or part of the family. TRUST THEM! They are definitely my shop from now on with all my car needs and I am going to suggest them to anyone who needs their car fixed!!!! God Bless them always!!!

My car broke down (I believe providentially) right before Cole`s Auto & Transmission Repair. The mechanic came out and offered his help. I really appreciated how he took time and explained the problem to me. Got the car fixed. Turned out even cheeper than the original estimate. Appreciated the good service and honesty!!

I recently purchased a used vehicle which, unfortunately for me, had some major repair issues. Howard took the time to show me personally just what all the problems were and to test the vehicle as I watched each step. We agreed on the price and work to be done. It was a very expensive repair, but the next day Howard and his wife contacted me to say that further testing showed the major problems were resolved and that... view more the cost was at least half the original price. It made my day and the honesty of these shop owners is incredible. The work was top knotch when I got my car back. I got another phone call from them later to tell me that I had left a pair of sunglasses inside the loaner car they had provided to me. The car was clean as a whistle when I picked it up and it runs like a top, which is a far cry from what it was doing when I brought it in to be serviced. I`d recommend this shop to anyone who wants dependable service and honesty. Both are generally hard to find these days, but Cole`s has the market cornered on them. I`ll be a return customer if I need any additonal work done on my vehicles in the future. Nice folk and nice doing business with them.

I recently purchased a used car for my daughter who will be driving in a few months. After purchasing the car everything started to fall apart. I went to several shops (and spent several thousand dollars) before I wound up to Cole`s and had the pleasure of meeting Howard and Sarah. After Howard took a look at my daughter`s car and running some diagnostic tests, he advised me that it would not be a good idea to kee... view morep fixing the car because it would continue to have problems - and he did not charge me for the testing that he did. Howard could have easily taken my money for additional repairs (as the others before him had done) but he didn`t. Love this place Howard and Sar...

Love this place Howard and Sara were wonderful they were able to fix my Jeep for about $200 less than the dealership. They provide wonderful service, explain in detail what is involved with correcting the problem and give you a fair price. I have recommended them to everyone I know and will only be taking my Jeep to them.
