When I first walked into their...

When I first walked into their shop, Omar and Sam were very nice. Their friendliness was a welcomed relief. I decided to buy a BMW they had on their lot. I was assured that the car was mechanically in excellent condition. It needed some cosmetic repairs and that was it. WELL not really. the first problem started when i picked up the car and the paint job was really crappy. Then they did not change a couple of parts i... view moren the engine compartment because "SAM" (the owner) decided they were not necessary to change. I was told that the front air duct and the hood catch were not needed for the functionality of the car. I should have known then that they were hiding issue with this car. I decided to take the car to their body shop and repaint and installed the missing parts on my dime ($1,100 parts and labor). A couple of weeks later the transmission started acting up. I called Omar and explained my problem. He told me to bring it in and get a transmission flush performed on the BMW. They did the transmission flush (later to find out they used the WRONG fluids), the problem persisted. This is when Sam became very unpleasant and actually rude. My wife was there to witness the humiliation of being treated like CRAP. They sell JUNK CARS. They are the kings of CUTTING CORNER. They can not be trusted. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PEOPLE!!!!!!!! So far the estimates to fix my car that i just bought three weeks ago is in the neighborhood of $4,000.00. Please do your self a favor and don`t buy a car here.

BAD BAD BAD BAD

If i had the opportunity to rate this people with a minus star i would have. My husband bought a car for our daughter from Sam and Omar the owners of NOT SO MUCH ""QUALITY AUTOMOTIVES OF AUSTIN"". They also own a company called SAM`S AUTO CARE. After less than 500 miles and two weeks, the car has transmission problems. They refused to fix it and take responsibility of this issue. They cut corners, cover the car issues and once it is sold, they are very very unfriendly. I had to witness my husband be verbaly abused by the owner of this place. He said not to come back. OHH, I almost forgot, he offerted to buy the car back for $2,000 less than what we paid for two weeks ago. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

ITS A SHAME

My dad bought me my first car three weeks ago at Quality Automotive of Austin/Sam`s Auto Care in South Lamar. I was very exited to get a Beemer. A couple of weeks after we bought it, the transmission started working up. My dad took it bak to Quality Automotive of Austin, but they do not want to fix it. Take your Honda/Acura here

I`ve written off using chain stores to service my Acura. The fact is if you use non-OEM parts on your Acura it will run suboptimally and shorten the life of the car. Acura`s require the use of Honda Transmission Fluid to shift properly. Good luck finding a lube shop that even knows such a thing exists. They`ll just dump the cheap stuff in and your transmission will shift roughly and tens of thousands of miles will be... view more taken off the life of your tranny. Same thing with spark plugs go to a chain shop and they`ll put in some off brand of plugs in your car. This will cause sub-optimal combustion. Will gum up your engine over time, lower fuel economy, and cause costly repairs down the road. Acuras need NGK plugs. So how are you supposed to know all this? Take it to someone who specializes in Acura/Honda cars and will use the proper fluids/parts. As far as the owner he is a no nonsense guy who will talk to you straight. No slimy nice guys who smile while ripping you off here. The prices are reasonable, well below what the dealer charges. Also I would trust the mechanic to check out say the brake pads and tell me honestly if they need replacing or not. Go to a chain brake place and they will find something wrong with your brakes if you ask that question. If you own an Acura/Honda you owe it yourself and your car to take it to a place that specializes in that car. Your car will run better and longer. I recommend this shop I experienced good honest service, and I know the shop uses the parts my Acura needs.

The Best

I`ve been going to Quality for about 8 years. They are Honda/Acura experts. Always honest, never overcharge and solid work. I won`t go anywhere else.
