I am new to the area and have a 1997 F150. I went in to get my oil changed and tires rotated,but I also wanted to keep my old truck. My 1997 F150 was running a little rough. I was working with Mike Raymer on a new truck, he took the time to show me everything on the truck and was very patient. When my old truck was ready in service there were a couple of other thinga that needed to be done but Jody, my service guy let me know what needed to be done soon and what could wait. I went in for my lifetime oil change,sold with my new truck, This guy told me they didn`t do this any more, they had new owners, offered me one for 39. then 29 told him i would go some where else. This place will rip you off!! I had a contract for free oil changes for the life of the vehicle as long as I owned it as the original owner. I told the manager this and he laughed at me and told me they were under new ownership even though they are the still name, logo, and offered no notice to the owners who had this contract. Had a WONDERFUL experience with Southern Ford on 12/29/11. I spoke with salesman, Ken Patrick earlier in the day and told him exactly what I was looking for in my son`s vehicle and financing. He was able to meet ALL my requests and I appreciate his honesty and integrity! I was not given the run around and there was not a lot of back and forth negotiating. I woud HIGHLY recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. It is my understanding that they are under new ownership and I think it`s making a huge difference. Only the best @ Southern Ford

I feel that if you look at the "BIG" picture you will see that Southern Ford in Manvel, TX is sitting right on the edge of a booming part of Houston. The fact is that 288 South in Pearland is the fastest growing sub-urban area in the city. As far as having a polite, honest, and customer service oriented business I would rate Southern Ford in the top of all Dealerships in the Houston area. In conclusion I would recommend Southern Ford and all of their employees to anyone who is considering buying, leasing, or just need a place for their vehicles maintenance. Southern Ford = False advertising & sneaky gimmicks! Don`t be fooled!

When we arrived Southern Ford looked like a ghost town instead of a dealership. We thought, this could be a good thing... Less time waiting and more time speaking with a rep that is not overly busy with several clients. We quickly found out that there was a reason that there were not any other clients there... They have horrible customer service, and sneaky sales guys. DO not go to Southern Ford! Do not fall for their "deals" or fliers promising special pricing, free appraisals, or WHEEL OF CASH/CASH just for coming in to get a free appraisal and demo drive. It is all a lie and you will not see a dime nor will you be treated with anything other than contempt if you do not immediately sign on the line no questions asked... Very dishonest and hateful. They keep you waiting, and stall until you are too tired to make a comfortable decision.. Don`t dare say you will sleep on it and come back the next day because they will pretty much kick you out the door and want nothing to do with you any more. My husband was going to buy a Mustang but now we will be going with a Dodge Charger instead. Their loss. It is not just our experience, look them up. Not to mention that their prices are at least $5000 MORE than other dealerships. They advertised one price but when you go in it was $7,500 more for the exact same model and options.
