My worst experience in 15 years. Rude, changing prices by the day. Complained that he ""did not enjoy this job"" - sure, I am paying him for having fun. The car had a problem talking to a state inspection station - wiring or something. He requested $90 for diagnostics. Another day he called and said that he did not find a problem yet, therefore needs another $90 - still for the same diagnostics! Finally, he charged m... view moree $90 for a connector that probably cost $10, plus 2hrs @ $90/hr for replacing it - adding up to $480 total. And MADE ME PAY CASH ONLY. Really a strange place.

Really friendly service and good information
My Toyota Highlander front end was shaking when braking to the point that my wife was scared to drive it. We were headed to Big Bend National Park on Wednesday afternoon and she insisted we get if fixed before we leave. I called Simms on Monday around noon and even though they were busy they were able to take my car in and do a complete brake job for considerably less than the dealer. Plus Simms even used Toyota br... view moreand parts. I was really worried that the front suspension was worn. The owner took his time to explain and show me what the problem was. I got a courtious call from his shop explaining the charges and asking permission to proceed with the repairs. The car now drives and stops like a dream.
Overall an excellent experience.
