Super Nice Guys, Great Customer Service. Very Knowledgeable
I went into Firestone with a wheel-bearing problem, among other things. Once they had looked at the car, they called me and explained the situation and its severity and explained it where I could understand it. They patiently answered all of my questions. The mehanic`s name was Jeff. What a super nice guy. When they told me how much it would cost, which was about average after pricing around, I told him I did not hav... view moree that much money. He said he understood that times were hard, and they could keep it for me as long as I want free of charge until I could afford to have the work done. I was so impressed with that! I ended up finding a much better price, so I did not get the work done there. However when I tolf them that I would be picking the car up, thier tune did not change a bit. They were still nice and understanding. They were even helpful to the tow driver that was transporting my car to the other mechanic. I cannot say enough things about this place. If I had the money, I would get all of my work done here. I will be taking my car in for its maitenence as well as its inspection. I highly reccommend this place for repairs if you can afford it. This was a no-pressure experience. I am so impressed.

Great service, courteous staff
I went for a regularly scheduled oil change for my Honda Accord. Beforehand, I called two times to check on the wait time. I spoke with Joe first and then Danny, both were very friendly, said sir a lot! Told me to bring it in now if possible so they can get it to me as soon as possible.
Within 30-45 minutes, I was in and out. Routine oil change, great deal, saw them teaching another customer about hub beari... view morengs and how it might get messed up due to manufacturer bc they were trying to SAVE her money by suggesting she goto her dealership to get it looked at since its under manufacturer!!! Rarely do mechanics do that!!!
I will be back bc I`ve been looking for a nearby reliable shop for my routine maintanence and think I found one.

Almost lost my life
A routine brake job cost $800 on my Lexus GS400. For this, I got 4 sub-par rotors that rusted after 1 month. Replaced the rotors. They replaced the rotors with spray-painted rotors to prevent rust. While driving to work today, almost lost front wheel because they forgot to put the lug nuts on or didn`t screw them in well. This is criminal. Do not go here unless you want to risk life and your car.

they will RUIN you car
brought my car there for oil chnage and got it back with the check engine light on. the cost to fix the problem was $800. these guys are swindlers !!! i will never go there again and will tell everyone that i know to avoid this place.

Horrible Brakes Service!!!!
Took car in for brake check because they started squealing... Replaced the brake pads ($450!!!!) and i took the car home. Next time I drove it, they started squealing again!! Took it back, and they said ""let me check your file..."" They claim to have never checked the rotars and that was the real issue. So now they want me to pay for that!!! I prob didn`t even need new pads!!! what a rip off..

They followed through on a customer service issue!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took my car there for a new battery. I was told I needed a new battery. They called a couple of hours later and said I needed a new starter for $600.00-700.00. The car isn`t that old. They said it wouldn`t start, etc. I took it to a Chevrolet Dealership, they said a cable was loose, I didn`t need a new starter or a new battery for that matter. As an update, the manager called me and they refunded me the mone... view morey for the battery and apologized. They went above and beyond to make the customer happy.

Don`t let them touch your car!
This place is pretty bad! Don`t go there, don`t let them touch your car not even clean your tires! trust me I made that mistake once!

Great service, great staff!
Firestone corporate stores continue to impress me. This location has dealt with a difficult situation for me and came through with stars. They have done work on more than one vehicle of mine and always stood behind what they do. They communicate clearly what they can (and can`t or won`t) do. They do good work for a fair price!

I will never go here again
I bought two tires on Thursday morning, drove over to UH and came home, Next day one tire was flat and the other was low. I took the car right over to them and they told me it would cost $19.95 just to look at them, because I hadn`t bought the extended road hazard warranty. When I asked them if that meant they could just sell me defective tires they replied that I should have bought the warranty. They had checked ... view morethe tires when they put them on and that it was a road hazard. The person who sold me the tires and to whom I talked to the next day was a manager.
I took the car over to Dicount tire and they said the tires had cracks in them. In general aside from my complaints about their honesty they have rude service (even when buying the tires they were unpleasant) and an uncomfortable loud waiting room.
