This auto repair is what we wanted to find

This company was so helpful. We were nervous going in and very pleased when we left. They are so honest and so helpful about everything pertaining to cars. They did a complete check of the car after the service was completed to make sure it was done correctly and cleaned up afterwards. Gotta go - I need another oil change!

I was a little surprised when I walked in there as instructed bymy my wife and her ""Grouponing"" to get an oil change. I was told it was by appointment only. IM sure it was in the fine print that my wife NEVER reads. SO I set up an appointment for 4 days later. The only day from the day I went in that was open. SO I go in 10 min before my appointment, and the nice lady remembered me..(frankly I am a pretty dist... view moreinguished looking person) but non the less she was friendly, and politely told me, there was a slight delay today, as the person who does oil changes was on lunch. I waited 25 min in their VERY clean lobby, and there sleep inducing music, and pretty comfy couches, until the guy got back from lunch. It then took the guy (Im sorry he looked more like a kid) 20 min to change my oil. Upon checking out the very nice receptionist gave me a $25 Gift card. Not sure if that was standard practice, or because I had to wait long. So all in all my Appointment turned out to be an hour long. I would have given more stars for rating if it wasnt for this. If you set appointments, you really should have stuck to it. Not sure I will go back, but maybe to use the gift card...

Great Workmanship and Great Service at Frank & Sandy`s

I`ve been to many auto shops locally in the Austin Round Rock area, and none of them have had exceptional service and great workmanship. Before going to Frank & Sandy`s, I was always shopping around for cheap auto shops, but everytime I did, I would get burned. You walk in to most auto shops locally, first thing you see is a grease monkey running the place who always wants to take your money. They go over every detail of services provided and give you many options to help with your budget. They helped me with a new engine with factory warranty and had it installed within a few days. I am making this my new shop for every vehicle that I need serviced, even if its just an oil change. Frank & Sandy, THANK YOU for getting me back on the road again, you far exceeded my expectations.

Finally!

After living in Austin for over 5 years, and mulitple shops later...I found Frank and Sandy`s through one of the sales reps. I have been completely burned by other shops in the area, and was hesitant to try yet another one I knew nothing about. I was so happy with my experience there. I have only been in the shop once until today to get my oil changed. I walked in, and Erica at the front desk greeted me by name. ... view more Again, this was only my second time in the shop! After my first visit with my brakes, I received not only great service and a wonderful job done on my car, but also a hand written thank you note in the mail a few days after my visit. I have finally found an honest shop here in town! My cars will never go anywhere else in Austin. I highly recommend this place.

best auto repair shop in austin ;)

Frank & Sandy`s has the best service i have ever experienced in an auto repair shop. i always feel 100% at home and 100% informed, (entertained!) and taken care of whenever i take my car in for service. they take the time to get to know their customers, and go above and beyond every time. my car is 16 years old, american-made, has close to 200,000 miles on it, and still purrs like a kitten:)

I absolutely refuse to go anywhere else

I moved to Austin maybe a year and half ago, bringing with me myriad problems contained in an aging Toyota Corolla wrapping. I had been to about two other shops hoping to have simple work done and been disappointed (initial work done was on brakes). There was something wrong and the squeaky-squeaky grinding sound continued despite the other places I had been to. I came to Frank and Sandy`s and they immediately gre... view moreeted me with a warmth unseen in any repair shop I had been to prior. After checking it out, they advised me what to do, and really, my trust had been shot by those other places, but I told them to go ahead. Haven`t had problems with brakes since! They feel great and my fear of dying due to a sudden brake failure has been alleviated! Next, and more importantly, I have had a nagging problem for YEARS regarding my car not consistently starting. Again, many shops had attempted to diagnose this issue and fix it only to lie to my face and tell me it would never arise again. On the other hand, Sandy always made sure to ask me to call back if problems arise. During the work though, she always kept me in the loop about what was going on and ended up having to go through a million (realistically maybe 5? more?) starters, comparing, installing, uninstalling. To conclude, I wanted to apologize to Frank and Sandy for having to deal with this problem that other shops and friends of mine have just given up on. Thank you guys!!! Also, I recommend this place to ANYONE who wants to get their car worked on and meet some good, wholesome people. They have single-handedly won my trust with their honesty and great work, despite the fact that I came in with a bad attitude about the whole thing.
