Reviews:

The best auto repair shop!!!
I went in for a state inspection and left with a new repair shop! The manager is honest, friendly and so helpful. They do great work at reasonable prices, and are very customer service oriented. I would highly recommend this location to anyone!!!

great experiences here
As a middle aged female who knows little about cars, I have developed low expectations for auto repair shops. This one is so different that I am willing to publicly praise it. I went in for an oil change because the location is next door to the office, and happened to meet the new owner and his manager. They told me they were a full service repair shop, and they were quite friendly, so I gave them a try. Sin... view morece then, I`ve had my windshield wiper motor, timing belt and fuel pump replaced. Though I""m no expert, I`d say the prices are very reasonable. The best part is, I trust them. The guys doing the repair work actually seem happy. Mike, the manager, explained everything well, and even voluntarily showed me the part he replaced. Mike was brought in from another city, where he had been managing several stores, and his professionalism shows. Further, he strikes me as a genuine good human being. If you`re looking for an auto repair place you can trust, I recommend this one.

Stay away from this place!
My wife took her car in for oil change; a few days later oil light came on while my wife was driveing car, she checked the oil level and it was so low it did not register on the dipstick! . My wife took car back to shop and the technician discovered the oil leak was at the filter.

Technician informed wife that the filter had been crossthreaded (causing oil to leak out). When on duty manager (Mike) was aske... view mored to replace oil and filter he refused claiming that the filter or gasket was likely defective and the shop was not responsible, nor willing to replace oil and filter.

Shop owner reiterated manager`s claim and refused to refund money or replace oil &filter. The cost was only a few quarts of oil, but it could have been much worse.

Great service
Was in yeasterday for a oil change, when the lube technician told me he saw a small coolant leak, after he tightned a loose hose clamp the leak was gone. Not only could I have damaged my engine, but my wife and kids could be stuck on the side of the road stranded. He tightned the hose no charge instead of trying to sell me some other kind of repair,Thank You Econo LUbe

New ownership Excellent!
The previous owners ran quite a bill up on my truck without fixing the problem. The new owner and mechanic fixed the problem even though it was not their fault. They did a great job - polite and courteous.
I definately recommend them.

Stay AWAY from this Econo Lube!!!
The service I received at this station was absolutely horrible!! I went in this shop to get an INSPECTION and an oil change. I PASSED my inspection. The oil change was done and I took my vehicle home, no more than 5 miles away, and parked. The VERY NEXT MORNING my car is making a horrible rattling noise and my oil light is flashing!!! I take it back at seven in the morning to let them know that my vehicle had not eve... view morer run so terribly and my oil light had NEVER been on before!!! They explained to me that they did NOT know what was wrong so they would check the oil caps and filter and drive it for a while to see if there was a change. At this point I had to get a ride from the owner to work, they kept my car for two hours and then I went to pick it up and it SEEMED to be running ok. THE VERY NEXT DAY my car starts making THE SAME noise and MY OIL LIGHT COMES BACK ON!!!! I race to the shop to scream that they were going to fix my car or I would contact my attorney. The end result is that they ""found"" that they were not at fault and the problem was my oil pump. They also explained that ""coincidences"" such as mine happen all the time and in order to investigate any further, they would have to remove my oil pan!! Martin, the manager, also explained that if they were going to do that, I would have to PAY THEM to fix the problem. The price for them to fix my previously un-damaged car was going to be $900!!!!! Feeling that I was getting INCREDIBLY TERRIBLE service from this Econo Lube, I PAID to get it towed from there!!! This has left me withOUT a car, no way to get to work, and no way to get my son from school. One OIL CHANGE, that was supposed to help me, RUINED MY LIFE!!!! Martin, Enrique, Jesus, and Mikey, thanks for your terribly inept service. Please do not go to this Econo Lube. As the person before me wrote, they do not value their customer, they COMPLETELY disregarded my frustration, and they CAUSED my car troubles.

Way overpriced with attitude
DO NOT goto this Econo Lube N Tune place!

I went there last week since it was close to work. The mechanic replaced 2 ignition coils and a cable set and charged me over $500 dollars. He told me that my left front axle needed replacing and wanted to show me. As he backed out of the shop, he backed my car into another car, damaging the back end of the car. He felt bad about the incident, so he talked the ow... view morener into charging me $320 instead of around $550 if I were to get my axle replaced there.

Initially I thought this was a good deal, then I decided to call around to check out prices. For the first ignition coil job, the going rate around town was $200 - $300 (vs the $ 500 I paid), and the going rate to replace the axle was around $320. I felt being taken advantage of at this point and decided to talk to the owner. The owner was very defensive about his pricing, and was not very apologetic about the damage of my car due to their negligence. He said he felt bad so he will lower about $30. I felt pretty insulted at this point since other places will do the job for about $320 without having previously damaged my car.

I will not take my car there again and urge anyone to not go there unless they just have money they want to throw away and get insulted at the same time. The shop owner`s insurance has still yet to call me today about the damages to my car.
