I first took my car in for new...

I first took my car in for new brakes. I was told the price was going to be over $300 after they added a few other things they said I needed. I paid for the repairs. I have been back 5 times in just over a year because my brakes have yet to stop making a very loud noice. The 3rd time I went back they decided I needed new rotars, so I paid for them. Another $300. I have gone back aother 2 times since. My car is still ... view moremaking the loud noice and now Im being told I need another costly part replaced. These guys might be friendly but they are a rip off and dont no what they are doing.

Not impressed

The people here were very nice and polite, but I ended up leaving a bad taste in my mouth. When I was given the original quote, it was an outrageous price - and I was told that the items on the listed "needed" to be replace. When my brother talked to the mechanic for me, he was told that it was "recommended" that many of those items be replaced, but they didn`t really *need* to be replaced at th... view moree time. I feel that, since I was a woman, they were doing their best to get as much money from my lack of knowledge as possible. After that, I was told it would be about 2 hours. So I waited. After 2-1/2 hours, they finally realized that no one in San Antonio had brake shoes for my car and told me that, if they ordered more, they would have to keep my car over the weekend until they got them in (the original shoes were perfectly fine to drive on until then - and that was their alternative fix, to just put the old ones back on and not charge me $10). I finally left after being there for nearly 5 hours. When I got home, I discovered that my emergency brake was no longer working, and my back brakes were causing a very strong burning smell. So now I have to go BACK there. I`m not impressed at all with this place, and I rather wish I`d gone somewhere else where they were more honest about the price and time, where my car would have been fixed the first time, and where they would have known what products they had in stock, rather than taking 2 hours to figure it out!!!
