I am so glad the internet makes it possible to share stories about shady dealers like this one. I purchased a 2006 Trailblazer from Southern Auto Dealers on a Monday. On Tuesday the air conditioner stopped working. When I took it to the car lot the salesman said I could bring it by and his mechanic would look at it. I left the car and at the end of the day the salesman called me saying the relay switch had went out a... view morend he was willing to pay for the mechanic`s 6 hours of labor and I could pay for the $200 part. I called a close mechanic friend of mine to verify and he said he had put one of these parts in and it took him 30 min. of labor but that the price of the part sounded right. When I told the salesman this he said he didn`t make enough money off of me to pay for repairs. Now I am stuck with a car that I paid $11,000 for and doesn`t have air conditioning. I went to this lot because I was under the assumption they weren`t one of those sleezy used car lots just looking to make a buck off any lemon they can clean up and put on the lot. Not only is the air conditioner broken after a day but there are numerous amounts of body damage. After a couple of days of opening and closing the back gate of the vehicle, the plastic piece connected to the body is breaking off. Obviously they rigged it to hold on long enough to make a sale. When I open and close the front driver door it rubs against the fender-metal to metal. There is a front tire that is bad and keeps going flat. The stabilitrak problem light keeps coming on. Once again, I have now owned this vehicle for 8 days. I would expect these problems from an 8 yr old vehicle which is why I spent $11,000 to get a newer car. I would not suggest this place to anyone unless you have terrible credit and need an older, less reliable vehicle.
