Find another dealership!!!!
My car buying experience with Johnson City Honda is the worst I have ever experienced. As someone who buys and trades vehicles frequently, I have never been treated as disrespectfully by such dishonest people as salesman Greg Collins and manager Brian. First of all, after we had reached an agreement on the vehicle, and after initialing 2 separate offers (the 2nd of which I accepted), we agreed on the price which... view more was still 1,000 more than I wanted to pay. However, when Greg had me sign the agreed upon offer, he switched the forms. I realized this as I was completing my signature, told him what he had done and he said it was ok, that it didn`t really matter and that the offer agreed on stood. As I left and thought about it, I called him back to discuss it before I returned that evening with my husband to finalize the purchase. I couldn`t reach him and he didn`t return my call, which was extremely odd since he had called daily for weeks. When I arrived that evening at 7:30, with my husband, he informed me that we had never had such an agreement and that I was ""mistaken"", and that I had never initialed but 1 offer on the vehicle. He even had the manager, Brian, come in to say that he was right, he would never agree to sell the car at that price. I insisted that they show me the paperwork from earlier that day, which Greg at first didn`t have, then it had been placed in the shred bin, which he did not have a key for and wouldn`t until the cleaning lady came in at 8pm. I insisted that I wait until that time. When the 2nd sheet turned up with my initials (but no signature), and which he insisted did not exist initially, both he and Brian stated it was never a valid offer, since that was not the one I had signed. Greg insisted that I did not know what I was talking about and as much as called me a liar. In addition to this, he also told me initially that the interest rate of the amount I was financing was 2.99%, however at the time of the signing, it was 4.99%; again the statement was made that I didn`t know or understand what I was talking about. At this point not only was I very angry, but my husband was as well. And it gets even better. . We were told that the car had not been smoked in, which was hard to tell intially because of the strong odor of cleaner that masked it, wrong again; after about 2 days when the smell of the cleaner wore off, it was apparent that the car belonged to a chain smoker. This is a big issue because of my son`s severe allergies. We were told the car had XM (was even on the information listing with the car), turns out it did not. When Greg went out to the car to ""check it out"", he unleashed a torrent of profanity in the presence of my 12 year old son, who unknown to him, happened to be lying in the back seat, (we had driven the car home and left our trade in at the dealership). It was after we left the dealership when my son informed me that he had called me a ""Goddamned, Mother F***ing C**t"" followed by a stream of even more of the same. My son was horrified; Had I or my husband known this before we left the dealership, not only would there have been no car purchased, there would have been a major problem I had purchased 2 Accords from John Skinner Honda many years ago, was very happy with both experiences. I expected the same this time and I can say without a doubt, that this was the absolute worst experience. Not only will I never again purchase a vehicle from your dealership, none of my friends or family will either. I hope the money I was cheated out of is worth the cost in the long run, even though it is more about the treatment than it is about the money. I suspect that this type of sales tactic is pervasive in your dealership and is probably even condoned. Sooner or later it will become apparent that Johnson City Honda salesmen and managers can`t treat people this way. If I could give them a lower rating, I would!!

Service customers beware! This...
Service customers beware! This Honda service dept. is taking advantage of people! I went to have my car serviced while visiting family at Christmas. I had about 30,000 miles on my Civic and they told me this big list of stuff that needed to be done. I explained to them the only thing the "Honda service book" said was at 3 years get the brake fluid replaced ONLY: There is NO mention of Coolant, Transmission... view more Fluid, steering fluid, and this big $400 list of stuff this guy tried to tell me had to be done! After a call to Honda they advised me to go by my maintance thing on dash that gives numbers to serviced that should be done. I called my local dealer and they said the same thing. NO NOT LET THIS GROUP OF SLIMBALLS SELL YOU STUFF THAT IS NOT NEEDED!!!!!

I recently purchased a vehicle from Johnson City Honda. My salesman, Rick Keesee, was a pleasure to do business with. He explained all the features on my Honda Civic EX in detail. He really took the time I needed to make sure that I did not have any questions left unanswered. I would highly recommend that if you visit Johnson City Honda to ask for his assistance. It has been a long time since I have visited a de... view morealership (& I have visited quite a few lately) where I felt truly welcomed! Rick you did a excellent job & I thank you for it!!! The only downside of this vehicle purchase (so far) was that I could have received a little less interest rate had I used my own means of financing.

My mom and I stopped by Johnso...
My mom and I stopped by Johnson City Honda with the intention of browsing and getting a basic look at pricing and options a few days ago. My 2004 Alero had been great for me but was beginning to have interior problems with the carpet, dashboard glue, and some minor dents and dings on the body. Right as we got on the lot, I noticed a couple interesting coupes but for whatever reasons, whethter it was the unusual col... view moreor or the sleekness, but the metallic bronze Civic called to me. Sales associate Chris Lewis, came out and was so polite from the very start. He offered a test drive and I immediately accepted. He was even courteous enough to let my mom sit upfront and he took the back. He guided me through a road that was perfect for testing the suspension but still yet without a lot of traffic. I tested a coupe but decided I liked the curve stability of the sedan a bit better, oddly enough. I fell in love with the sedan Civic and we went in the office to discuss options. I told Mr. Lewis payment information and he negotiated finance to a very reasonable number as we had hoped. He did exactly what he had said and also worked hard to get a decent trade-in value on my old car. He was very cordial and explained everything we asked and if he didn`t know, he always came back to the desk with the proper information. Needless to say, I am now in a Civic and loving it. Chad Lewis is an awesome sales representative, a very friendly person, and definitely an asset to Honda and customers alike.

Bad Service from Johnson City Honda
The van I bought from Johnson City Honda had damaged rear tires which they claimed were not but one blew-out on the drive home from the dealership (just like the two front tires had done the week before), new front tires that were unbalanced (one with lug nuts on backward and one with no tire weights), & front end out of alignment. All this after their 128-point inspection. Johnson City Honda refused to contribute to... view more the cost of new rear tires or reimburse me for having to get the new tires they gave me balanced or reimburse me for missing the alignment was bad. Max was nice and courteous through out the process but I would never do business with them again. You can read more at the website I created - www.johnsoncityhondaservice.us. They sure don`t see to be living up to their

I just bought a new Honda Odessey from JC Honda. My sales rep was very good. He spent the whole day with me. To seal the deal he even had to go to my husband`s office, 30 minutes away, to have him sign the papers. Not to mention, we had to stop and pick up my daughter from school on the way! I never felt pressured or rushed. I would recommend JC Honda to anyone!
