Great experience
I had a great experience purchasing a vehicle from Volvo of Nashville. The sales staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and low-pressure. Its not often you can say you actually enjoyed the car purchase experience, but I had a great time working with Bill, John, and John. Genuinely nice people. Plus, the 2012 S60 T6 I bought is out of this world!

Honest, courteous and respectful
I have purchased 3 vehicles from Volvo of Nashville, even when they were music country Volvo. They have always been honest, courteous and respectful. Sometimes a little higher than independents, however, I often utilize their courtesy van or loaner if I cannot wait. With my latest purchase I received free maintenance for 5 years.... How can you beat that.

Beyond the call of duty
Great people, sales and service. I have bought numerous Volvos from Volvo of Nashville since 1986, and they have always gone beyond the call of duty. I wouldn`t think about going anywhere else.

My best car buying experience ever
I am a single divorced female. I recently changed jobs and needed to trade my sedan for an SUV as a result of my new job. I shopped multiple volvo dealerships online for a new XC60 and eventually ended up at Volvo of Nashville. I was treated with intelligence and respect. They allowed me 2500 more for my trade than other quotes, provided me with 2.9% interest and then I was surprised when they informed me that my ser... view morevice and maintance was free for 5 yrs with my new purchase. My best car buying experience ever. Cudos to them.

Volvo of Nashville, THE BEST place to buy!
I could not have been more pleased with my car buying experience at Volvo of Nashville.
The salesman helped my choose the car that best suited me. Once that decision was made, the general manager Bill, bent over backwards to make the deal happen. He even helped me get my old car ready for its lease wear-and-tear inspection.
My Volvo was ready when they promised. It was even started, with the air conditioner r... view moreunning, so the car was cool when I was ready to go.
I also wanted to get my windows tinted and they`re even helping with that process.
Buying my Volvo was the easiest car buying experience I`ve ever had, and this is my ninth new car.
Indeed, run... don`t walk to Volvo of Nashville.

Volvo of Nashville has great service!
I would recommend this dealership to any volvo owner!
I went in to Volvo of Nashville a few days ago and the service was wonderful. The young man at the service desk was very helpful and polite. He told me I needed to go ahead and do my 100,000 service check(the car had 99,000). I waited in the customer lounge for all of 30 mins while they worked on my car. The owner of the dealership came in during that time and ... view moreasked me if I needed anything and if I was assisted properly.
This was the third time I have had my car serviced here and I have never encountered a problem. If you like nice people and good service go here!

Don`t go to Volvo on Murfreesboro Rd
I heard it over and over. ""Don`t take that car to the Volvo on Murfreesboro Rd"" I went there anyway thinking my warranty on my brand new car would mean something.
They charged me $300 more than the quote, did unauthorized repair work without asking me while I was in the waiting room (for 3 hours) and produced a plastic piece they claimed was found in the car thus making the warranty ineffective.
The old farme... view morer whom I won`t name, came out and told me `you`ve been sabotaged` ... well, turns out, yes, I was. He said it himself. I paid twice what I expected to pay and got a repair that I didn`t need nor want.
The warranty is an illusion. They wouldn`t cover a key that broke in less than a year, a seat that broke in less than a year, but after some fighting did replace the identifying numbers that fell off the back of my brand new car.
Import specialty is supposed to be much better and more honest so if the warranty doesn`t cover anything you might as well go there.
Also, you can`t book online, and they have no email capabilities.
I`ve never written a review like this, but I promised them I would!

Do not get your Volvo Serviced here
I took my wifes XC90 here for the 15k service - which I thought was just an oil change. They did a number of things (washer fluid, changed pollen filter) that were not communicated to me prior to the service. They do have wifi in the waiting room which was convienient, however there was a box of krispy kremes with a half eaten doughnut in it - box empty otherwise. I would think they would pay better attention to deta... view moreil at a Volvo dealership. When they were finished I went to checkout and they told me it was $260. I thought I was there for a $50 oil change. I will take some blame because they had the 15k service detail posted in one area that I saw after the fact. Again I would think a Volvo dealership would go over what they were going to do and how much it would cost ahead of time. When I got in the vehicle the plastic was still on the seat, there were grease prints on the steering wheel and the passenger seat floorboard was covered with leaves where they apparently flushed the A/C and didnt clean up. I had recently detailed the inside so this did not make me happy. I loyally take my other vehicle - a Honda - to Reddell Honda in Murfreesboro because they always communicate to me exactly what they are going to do, how much it will cost, and call me to let me know if there is anything I need to be aware of during service. I will never have my car serviced at Volvo of Nashville again and reccomend that no one else does either.

Buyer beware!
We purchased a ""certified preowned"" XC-70 from Volvo of Nashville in 2004. Recently, while needing repair, we discovered that the car`s history prior to our ownership was unknown ... how could this be in the era of computer records by VIN number? Answer: they got the car from Hertz. Now that may not mean much to some people, that their top-dollar, pre-owned car had been driven by an endless succession of drivers... view more who had no investment in it`s well-being, but it does to me. I really feel deceived that it was not disclosed, more accurately obfuscated, during my purchases. If you don`t want to pay top dollar for a rental car, you may want to hold their feet to the fire and get the vehicles history.
