Bait & Switch and Deceptive business tactics
I had a check engine light that I read with a $40 code reader that I own. I needed an O2 sensor replaced. I called and was quoted a price of $200. I showed up the next week at 7 am when the store opened and told the clerk that I needed the Downstream O2 Sensor replaced and that I already knew the code status. 2 hours later, I was told that the O2 Sensor had failed, my plug wires were shot and I had an oil leak. I jus... view moret had the wires changed less that a year ago, and I change my own oil so I know the leak was BS. Then I was told it would be $300 to replace the O2 sensor, $99 for the computer check. Who the hell told you to put it on the computer? If I come in for an oil change that I know needs done, do you test the oil and bill clients $99? How about low air in a tire? ""We checked the gauge and you`re right, that`s $99."" AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS! They take advantage of inexperienced people who know nothing about cars.

Progressively poor service
I used to use Firestone for everything, but they started misdiagnosing a few small things about a year ago. Then yesterday I took my truck in for an alignment because I was supposed to leave to go to a funeral this morning. The technician said there was too big of a gap on my pitman arm and the car was unsafe to drive. No one there could help me so I would have to come in first thing to have an estimate done. I got t... view morehere first thing hoping to get out fast enough to get to the funeral. three hours later they call me and tell me all I needed was an alignment. Now I have missed the funeral of a dear friend all because they did not know what they were doing. I`m done with them. No one even apologized!
