arrogant and full of bs

while I was waiting forever for a tire to be replaced I heard conversations the sales had with people about various work on their vehicle. basically taking advantage of people who dont know any better. The salesman asked me when the last time I had my 2012 suburban aligned. I told him its not a year old and only has 4000 miles he said it wouldn`t hurt. Avoid this place!!!

These people are completely unethical and ripped me off without any shred of mercy when I traveled to Memphis. I asked for my AC to be fixed. They estimated $500 or so. Then when I picked up my car, the charge ended up being over $1000. They had done extra work without my permission. I did try to complain to their manager at the time, but he didn`t give a damn. With such a price tag, you`d expect the qualit... view morey of the repair to be good, right? So they say that the problem was a leaky hose, which they replaced. One month later, the AC stopped working again and I had a different place look at it. The new place found a VERY OLD hose where Mathis Tire & Auto service supposedly installed a new hose. So in essence, what happened was that Mathis took a used hose and replaced my old leaky hose, and had the gall to charge me $1000, all without my permission. The second place charged me less about $60 to replace the hose and refill my refrigerant. Mathis Tire & Auto people represent the worst car repair shops have to offer and has made me very distrustful of repair shops in general. Even though I`ve never been ripped off this bad, I must thank them for setting the bar low enough for all other repair shops to exceed. Do not use them under any circumstance, unless you don`t mind getting ripped off!
