Exceedingly Happy
The sales staff were great and worked hard to please. Other lots worked just enough to make a sale. Toyota of Kingsport worked hard enough to assure repeat customers. Thanks guys`. Love my Highlander!

Buyer BEWARE!!!
4wd does not work, paint coming off, breaks are bad, transmission is bad. Noticed after driving less than 50 miles on my 2006 truck. The day I purchased it ""seemed"" to be in great shape. I was mislead! Toyota of Kingsport said `too bad, not our problem`, after I was assured of what a `gem` I was buying.
Clean car fax or `certified` is BS! I agree with the other comments about the commercials, they are a bunch of ... view morecrooks.
I make a point to ask Toyota and Lexus drivers about their cars, majority say they will never do business with Don Hill again and go to Knoxville, Asheville or Atlanta.

Not at all truthful!!!!!!!!!!!!
My grandson was called by his best friends dad and told him he had a 1993 Toyota pickup that he might want and wanted to meet us there to check it out. When we got there he told us that it had a small oil leak and that he had the top technician to look at it and assured us that it was just a valve cover gasket leak.So i helped him to get his loan at ECU and it was his first vehicle is his name.He drove it just a coupl... view moree days and had to replace both head lights and a thermostat and oil leak got worse and took it to a top notch mechanic to get it repaired and he said we got took very bad,it was a cracked piston and 2 other people has confirmed it.It is going to cost between 1400.00 and 2400.00 hundred dollars to either try to overhaul it or replace motor. He is stuck with payments on 3000.00 dollars he paid for the truck. My daughter has called there 3 times and no one will talk to her or even call her back .This is very sorry to treat an 18 year old boy who is a senior in high school and works part time.I have learned a valuable lesson from these people who brag on their TV commercials how good they are.I would drive to Knoxville to buy a car before i would them.

What a nightmare!
Kingsport is a small town.Plus we all read the newspapers and know what is going on. Talk to Toyota and Lexus owners locally and ask about their experience... I have, and wish I had prior to trading in Kingsport! I recently purchased from Toyota of Kingsport and highly regret it. Have had issues that could have caused a serious wreck. Clean carfax does not mean anything. Detail crews camo to perfection, just wait un... view moretil you wash it the first time. I have barely driven my vehicle and the tran is messed up. WTH! And when I heard they were going to resale my trade in I almost had a stroke. It had duct tape on it AND they knew I had the head gasket replaced last year. I left them EVERY invoice. It was driveable, but NOT in my opinion something that a dealership should be selling. Had I known before I purchased that they would even consider turning around and selling my old vehicle instead of selling it for parts I would had ran, not walked away and never came back. I found out they were going to resale my trade in after the deal was done. Too late now. I`m stuck with the problems on a newer model and now have a car payment and about to drop big $ on my old car which I was trying to avoid by trading up. I hid nothing from them, left them EVERY INVOICE. It`s barely been a month and I am already considering trading again.
I recently met a person who drove all the way to Maryland to buy his 2010 Prius. His friend works at a dealership and had the inside scoop. Kingsport was trying to take him for a ride he didn`t wish to go on. He was better off spending his time and gas money driving all the way to Maryland than dealing with Kingsport. I wish I had waited it out and have learned ""buying local"" isn`t always good.

Won`t stand behind Warranty On Car
I ordered a new 2009 Camry from Toyota Of Kingsport and waited for its` arrivial. I picked the car up and drove it home and parked it in my garage. When I backed the car out one sunny afternoon I noticed buff marks all in the paint. I drove the car back to Kgpt. Toyota with only appr. 50 miles on it, after looking at car, they all agreed the buff marks were bad. After meeting with area represatives from Toyota and To... view moreyota of Kgpt. they said the warranty didn`t cover it. This is a new car I ordered from Toyota of Kpt. Still have it with buff marks in garage.
