this is in response to the person who bought a car at Hodge Motors. I have been a loyal customer of Allen Hodge for many years. He is one of the most brutally honest people I know and would never intentionally sell anybody a bad vehicle. He has on numerous occasions told people to take the vehicle to a mechanic or garage of their choosing to have it inspected before purchase.I also know where if you are not satisfie... view mored he will do his best to put you in another vehicle that suits your needs. Obviously you did not take his advice and now you are trying to soil his good name by having someone knock your head loose on repairs and holding Hodge Motors accountable for your ignorance. I suppose you are somebody that thinks" car dealers are like Wal-Mart " if you don`t like it , take it back" Sorry to say that doesn`t wash

We bought a used car from Hodge motors. When we got home, we checked the transmission fluid and it was not even showing on the dipstick. Then we noticed when we put fluid in that it was leaking out everywhere. He instructed us to take it to his repair shop and we left the repair shop our phone numbers and they never called. We contacted them at the end of the day, and they said a corner was broke off the transmission... view more. So we called Eric Hodge and he reluctantly gave us another car considering we are financing for a total of $3000.00. We accepted the other car but noticed it had a extremely bad shake in the front only when you gave it gas. So once again, he sent us to the repair shop. They looked at it and said that it was the motor mounts, and they are hydraulic, and they do not do that kind of work. The shake was so bad, we were afraid to drive it. So we called Hodge motors back and he told us he could get us the mounts at his cost, but we were to do the work ourselves. So we took it to our mechanic and found out it was the front axles. We spent another $334.00 and got the written bill and details of the work done. So then we called Danny Hodge and told him we had to spend out of our pockets to get the car repaired, and he would not help us any with the bill. I will never do business with them again, and do not recommend them to my worst enemy. I will be submitting a report to the Better Business Bureau right after I write this. I feel it is his responsibility to check these cars over before they cause injury to their customers and their families riding in these cars.
