Terrible customer service experience. Scheduled appointment a week in advance. dropped car off and was told install should be complete in 2 hours. Came back after two hours only to find my car in the same place and untouched. When I asked what happened, Tech said they didn`t have part and complained about their inventory system. Tech said he could go to another store and asked me to call him if I wasn`t going to c... view moreome back. I left and returned an hour later and was told they don`t have the part at any store. At that point, I just wanted my deposit but was told system doesn`t show any deposit. I had to show Tech my phone where deposit came out of my account. Then (almost unbelievably) Tech wasn`t able to work credit card terminal to process refund. After another 20 minutes, I finally demanded a refund and Tech just gave me cash.

Stay away from this place. These folks cannot give you a straight answer. Rude, arrogant. I spent 5 1/2 hours in the "waiting" room inhaling second-hand smoke from the employees in the back. (Hey guys....the cigarette smoke goes through the ventilation system.) I took pictures on my phone that shows 2 guys in the back looking at what I think was a computer monitor puffing away. They then mashed the cigarett... view morees out on the floor. The entire time I was taking video with my phone. But they still deny they were illegally smoking. Couldn`t install a remote start. Refused to listen to what I had to say regarding the name brand equipment that worked on my car. (They don`t carry it.) Miserable experience and I would say if you go there knowing this and you get terrible service and rude employees you will get what is expected. Bad service, ripoff pricing, don`t waste your time

These guys ruined my day and stole my lunch hour with their LIES. Why can`t these people just be honest? I had a DVD player and a Sirus TV tuner installed in 2009. The audio has always had interference with the engine electronics and creates a high pitched buzz throughout the system. They tried to fix it a couple of times and couldn`t. Meanwhile I still have an annoying audio buzz when the TV/VCR is on. We can... view more only use headphones to watch TV. Now we are having problems with the Sirius tuner, they say on the phone that CarTronics has a lifetime warranty on their installation. We bring the vehicle in today - and guess what. They say no, whoever told you that we had a lifetime warranty was wrong. The warranty is for a year. They wanted to charge us $80 an hour for labor and $349 for a new Sirius receiver. We called Sirius and they sent us to Best Buy who will install the new receiver for $39.99. This includes installation! Maybe they can fix the problems the buzz that CarTronics caused in their initial installation.
