Diffrent circumstances
It was obvious to ME that somone from Gateway wrote another review in order to water my first review dow. I never said anything about a ""Back Lot""... didn`t know they had one. EVERYHING I wrote in my first review is absolutely true. They ""Lost"" my son`s car TWICE in one day. ( It was sitting in the front lot towards the end all day). That being said, I have been forced to use them on two occasions since my fi... view morerst time there and I must say that things have been very different. Good service (busy as hell) work done well and for now i will give them 3 stars. I will continue to go back and report as needed.

flat fix?
I agree with Mr. Pryor below. I took a tire and wheel in to have a flat fixed with a huge screw in the tread. The worker explained after he had taken the tire off the wheel that he could not see that the screw had penetrated through. I told him that it obviously had penetrated because the tire was losing pressure. He decided to use a 1/4 inch drill bit to drill a hole completely through the tire. This was entire... view morely too large of a drill bit to get the job done. I ended up with a patched tire and large hole that made the patch highly suseptible for failure. The tire was not rebalanced correctly either after it was reinstalled on the wheel. The old wheel weights were still on the wheel with new wheel weights installed. The correct way to balance a wheel and tire is to remove the old wheel weights prior to putting on the balance machine. After this type of service, I would never trust them to do any work on my vehicle of any kind.

Great Service
I have been going to Gateway Tire for years now and have had nothing but good experiences from them. DavidPryor1 doesn`t know what he is talking about, there is no back lot at Gateway Tire on HWY 64 (only a small driveway) and it is next to impossible for them to lose a car the way he has explained (they have a pretty small parking lot and a quick look outside and you can see any car in the parking lot).
What tir... view moree shop and small service shop doesn`t have the tools required to do the jobs he has explained?
When I was in college, the guys would fix a nail in my tire for free and now our business uses these guys all of the time and have nothing but good experiences and we will continue to use them. I will continue to stick up for these guys until their service proves otherwise,
DavidPryor1`s review just doesn`t make sense.

WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!!!
i was told to bring my son`s car in around 8 or 9 to make sure they could service everything. i got up early Sat. morn, dropped it off at 7:50. While there, the tech asked what else they could do besides the wheel bearing job. My son listed 5 or 6 small jobs, e-brake tightened, wheels balanced etc. We left the car. 11:30, i called to check on it. I was told after a looong search, the car was in the back because th... view moree tech couldn`t find it. I explained that no one called me with a price and i wasn`t in a huge hurry but the work needed to be completed. The tech said, ""i tell you what, Mr. Pryor, I`ll go check on it right now, if there;s a problem, i`ll call you right back"". Great! No phone call back... 2:55, i called again and they couldn`t find my name or my car. After at least 5 minutes on perma-hold, Travis tells me in a very pleasant voice,"" No wonder i couldn`t find it. They haven`t started on it yet."" ""Well"", i asked, ""can you still complete all the work today?"" "" Nope"", he says, ""in fact, we don`t have the tools to do most of this work"". I asked why the tech didn`t tell me that this morning and he says, ""Well, i dunno. i couldn`t tell you that."" So i said fine. ""Can you get the wheel bearing & the tire rotation done today?"" In a very matter of fact tone he informs me NO, they don`t have time to get to any of it. He offfers no help whatsoever. When i explain that i don`t understand how this could happen and why they can`t get any of done, he simply says ""sorry, we just don`t have the time."" ""But Travis, I called twice today and now you`re telling me that therres just nothing you can do for me?"" ""Nope, Sorry Mr. Pryor. You`ll just have to bring it back"" With that, I informed Travis to leave the keys, I would pick up the car and take my business elsewhere. He says ""OK"". What a dufus. Zero customer service. He was fine with losing a customer for life! I recommend you stay away from Gateway Arlington on Hwy 64. THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY IDIOTS!!!
