Excellent service
I received excellent service from this Clark Tire location. The manager took the time to explain exactly what was going on with my car. I felt comfortable with the repair and to my delight it didn`t cost anywhere near what I had feared it would cost.

Fraud alert!! Misrepresents re...
Fraud alert!! Misrepresents repair needs, chagning content of repair without authrization.
My car had a fuel leak from fuel pressure regulator socket. Clark Tire told me the fuel rail was out of alignment and needs to be replaced. So I agreed the replacement of fuel rail.
Two weeks later I found out the fuel rail was not replaced so I called the Clark Tire. They told me they replaced fuel pressure regulator instead... view more. I`ve already told them the fuel pressure regulator was new and under warranty before when gave me the quote.
They never informed me of what was actually done on my car until two weeks later I called. I consulted a GM certified machanic and it turned out all needs to be replaced was a 50 cents o-ring and 5 minutes labor.
The manager offered to refund the part, but not labor or diagnosis. I seriously doubt if they even replaced anything but the o-ring.
Then I went to the shop and the manager did admit they overchaged the part, but he said it`s a standard practice to overchage the part by 30%-40% over OEM`s price(GM retail price at dealership).
Their excuse for not telling me about the actual work on the car was their technician thought fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator was the same thing. I asked them why they don`t even check the manual and his answer was it didn`t matter as long as the car was fixed.

Fruad!! DIshonest!!
Fraud!!! Dishonest!! Fuel leak from FPR socket. They told me my fuel rail was out of alignment and had to be replaced. So they charged me $240 total for that and I find out the old fuel rail still there. I checked the invoice and the part replaced was fuel line regulator which does not exist(what about fuel line/regulator). The part was almost 50% above GM`s Retail Price, and an hour labor + diagnosis cost. 5 minutes... view more job, 50 cents part(FPR o-ring), Clark Tire can charge you $240. Somebody is gonna get sued!!!

Very Nice
I have been doing business with Clark Tire in Boone for years. The location they are at now is a lot better than there old location on 421.
They have changed managers a couple of times, for the best in my opinion. Everytime my wife needs something done to her vehicle the friendly staff gladly takes her to work, the mall or anywhere she needs to go while her car is being serviced.
I would recommend Clark Tir... view moree to anyone who needs auto service. Thanks, guys.

poor customer service
I will not be back. I had a problem with my bank card, and it was handled very rudely. I had to walk to my bank, they would not give me my car or offer a ride. This was after waiting 2 hours.

Worst place in the high country
Worst place EVER! Last year I went to get new tires, ONLY. After waiting for 5 hours, they put different tires on because they were out of the ones that I had chosen (never told me) and then they put new brakes on and then told me how much it would cost. (I never asked for new brakes.) What should have been $300-350 cost about $850. I had to call my credit card to see if I had enough money to pay for it! DISHON... view moreEST! Now, I just went in to get a tire patched (for free because I have road hazard insurance through them) and AFTER they patched it, said that I did not have road hazard insurance and they charged $19.95 (for what Boone Tire charged $10) Will never go to again... EVER.
