Editorial review from Citysearch
My mechanic, whom I trust, but does not do European transmission work, referred me to Mickey at Lebanon Transmission. Mickey and his employees were very honest, helpful, & knowledgable. He & his staff spent hours analyzing my Audi transmission problem, just to give me an estimate, at no charge. You can`t get anymore honest than that! I drove over an hour to get to his place, & will not hesitate to drive that dist... view moreance for any future need. I will recommend my friends & family as well. It`s not so common nowadays to happen upon good, trustworthy people, but that was my experience. Outstanding customer service & highly recommend.

Incompetent & Dishonest
I have never encountered somebody as incompetent and dishonest as Mickey. He doesn`t know how to repair transmissions or change timing belts. He will leave your car in his lot for weeks and give you sob story after another why your car isn`t ready. Don`t fall for his brain damage excuse. I had to pay to have my transmission repaired again because I did not want to go to the trouble of suing him. You`ve been warne... view mored!

Excellent Repair
Since we have moved here from Florida in 2008, and we started having problems with one car or another from new to older, Lebanon Transmission was reccomended to us through a neighbor who used their services.

We have 5 vehicles that have been serviced or repaired by Lebanon Transmission and never once had an issue over time or cost of repair.

Mickey explained to us at each time what it would take and th... view moree cost upfront or if he needed time to figure it out he never done any work without first letting us have the decision to go ahead.

I guess we decided to write because of another review we read and just couldn`t believe the story. We are a working class family and money gets tight but we have never had a bad experience here. We trust Lebanon Transmission after all God graced us with 3 children and 7 grandchildren and transportation for our family is vital for safety. We say Thank You Lebanon Transmission and May God always Bless you!

Lebanon Transmissions
I have recently changed over to Lebanon Transmissions for my car servicing and I have been so pleased! They are always very, very pleasant and very reasonable with their prices! I will not be changing again! I have ben trying to tell everyone that I know! I would much rather support a family owned business instead of these big chains that really could care less about you or your vehicle! I also wanted to comment on t... view morehe review written by Mr. Lee Jones- this had got to be the biggest crock I have ever seen or heard in a long time! I have met mickey and his wife and in no way to see any of those accusations being true, don`t believe this could be in either one of their natures! You really have to be careful these days because some people always want to get over on others! Something to think about- thank yal so much for the good service and hospitality!

Great Transmission Shop
Recently we took our 1997 Honda Accord to Lebanon Transmission. We were pleasantly suprised at the
"" down home "" feeling we had while there.
The work was done in a timely manner. The staff was both courteous and well qualified. I highly recommend Lebanon Transmission to anyone in need of any automotive repairs!!!!!!!

Great Service at a reasonable price
I brought my Linvoln Mark VIII in for a transmission replacement and some regular maintenance work. The staff was courteous, the work was completed as promised, on time and at the quoted price. There were no no suprises.

worst shop I have ever dealt with in 30 years.
This is the very worst shop I have ever dealt with in thirty years of owning cars. I Brought my van to them because it was not shifting out of first. they took it but did not offer an estimate at that time as is required by state law. after one week they called to say it was ready and that the bill would be 1987 dollars. We picked up the van and paid in full at that time. We were given a receipt which stated that we ... view morehad to bring the van in within seven days to be checked out or our warranty would be null and void. We drove 3 miles to a store and the van would not start. The next day I went to their office to ask if their was any chance the problem could be related to the work just done. The owner Michael Speight flew into a rage and first tried to intimidate me through shouting and finger pointing which rapidly progressed to actual threats and ordering me of his property. I immediately left and he followed me out the the door still shouting threats. We drove the van 150 miles in the next few days and then it broke down again with the same problem. We had it towed to them in compliance with our warranty. They accepted the vehicle but again offered no estimate of cost. After nine days they called us to pick up the van. When we arrived they presented us with a work order form which stated that we owed them 587 dollars and that our warranty was null and void because I had tampered with the kickdown cable while replacing the alternator. This was false and I told them so at the time. They told me I had no choice but to pay the bill. I said that I wanted to inspect the van to see if any work had actually been done. They refused and both michael and shaun speight flew into a rage and ordered us of the property. I still had the work order in my hand. Shaun speight demanded it back. I refused and she attacked me and elbowed me in the chest in order to wrest the document from my hand. My wife and i left at that point with the witness we had brought. We called the police as soon as we left the building. currently THey are holding our van and refusing to release it unless we sign the fraudulent work order and pay the bill they presented plus 25 dollars a day in storage fees. If you value your car do not ever use this business
