Buyer Beware!
My story: I bought a transmission from these guys. It seemed like a great price. The owner insisted that it was in great condition and guaranteed that, within 30-days, if the part was defective, I could return it for a full refund. I had the part installed a repair shop (one that I trusted). It worked for about 20-miles, then the check-engine light came on. By the time I returned to the repair shop, there was ab... view moresolutely no traction on any gear level. They hooked it up to a computer and showed me that there was an ""incorrect gear ratio."" In other words: the part was defective. I had the part shipped back to the Neely`s Bend junk yard. It was well within the 30-day period, but they refused to give me a refund. Long story short: They made a few claims, trying to pass the blame on the repair shop, that were obviously phony. It seemed they were trying to throw me off, and make it difficult so I would eventually give up. To add insult to injury, the owner also made a few sexist comments to my fiance. A month with several phone calls and visits later, and after I finally threatened to take Neely`s Bend to court, the owner offered to refund me 75% of the original cost. I accepted, not out of principle, but simply because I didn`t want to go through the trouble of litigation, but I would steer clear of this business.
