BEWARE!
When I initially spoke to Sam Owens about fixing my car he was a nice guy. I offered him nearly $2000.00 to fix my car engine. He agreed. First, it took him an incredibly long time to fix the engine, then he fixed my radiator, refusing to let me drive off without repairing it, and charged me an additional $500. When I explained to him that I could not pay an additional $500, he became belligerent with me, cursed me o... view moreut, mocked me (began talking in my voice tone), talked about how he didn`t care what my ""status in life was"" or any other hardship I may be going through...he wanted his ""DAMN MONEY IN CASH AND I`M GOING TO LAY THAT SH*T OUT ON HIS COUNTER AND COUNT IT!"" He became a totally different person after he was paid the $2000. He then threatened me with a mechanical lien and threatened to sell my car. This is immediately after I said I didnt have the $500 right then. He didn`t try to work with me or anything. I tried to come to some sort of resolution...I explained to him that I was a college student traveling and that I could get his money to him ASAP but that I needed my vehicle to be able to move around and work. He called me a liar and a scammer...Mind you, he has just been paid $2000 and he calls me a scammer. I would suggest to anyone considering this guy to not do business with him. Who knows what kind of hardship you may face, he will not work with you. Forget it. And I spent thousands of dollars with this man. He`s a bitter miserable man. Do not do business with Sam Owens at Master Muffler & Auto Care. I WARN YOU NOW.

Fixed it the first time!
My daughter has a 2000 Honda Accord which suddenly started running very rough. Of course, she drives it like a race car. We towed the car to a local auto repair shop. After having the car for 3 days, and replacing about $300 worth of parts, we were told that they could not determing what the problem was. We were still on the hook for the parts and for part of the labor. We then had the car towed down the street ... view moreto Master Muffler. They were pleasant and professional, although their shop could have used some cleaning up. After noting what parts had already been replaced, and with their experience with this engine, they diagnosed the problem correctly -- a worn and slipped timing belt. The belt was replaced, the engine timing was re-set, and we drove her smooth running car home in less than a day. Master Muffler fixed it the first time and in less time than I anticipated. I will continue to bring my cars in to Master Muffler for repair from now on and I will recommend them to my friends.
