Where oh where do I even begin...

Where oh where do I even begin with this place. If I honestly had any sense I would`ve taken them to court by now. After the transmission went out, it took them over 2 months to rebuild it. They would never call to give updates or anything. It was always the same excuse why it isn`t wasn`t finished. Charlie would claim that they were working on it or they sent the wrong parts blah blah blah. Even when you did call, i... view moref you were lucky enough for someone to answer, Charlie was extremely rude and acted as though you had no right to be angry that he`s had your car for two months. If you ask any other mechanic the status of your car they would state that they haven`t worked on it and to talk to Charlie. He`s rarely there so who does work on it? You can leave messages and messages and he will NEVER call you back. After the initial rebuild, 4 months later the exact same problem happened BUT this time he insisted it was the throttle switch. There`s no difference in what happened with the car at all. So this took him over a month, same thing with being rude and having to call all of the time. I wasn`t notified when it was finished. Well 6 months had gone by and recently the car did the exact same thing. Now he`s saying that he didn`t do anything except clear the codes on the computer and it ran fine. So being fed up, I had it taken to Honda. The problem that had been occurring was a simple fix in the computer. So did this man say I needed a new transmission and charge me $2000 for a computer error??? I wouldn`t think this if the car didn`t malfunction the exact same way every single time and Honda told me it would`ve been reoccurring like that. After Honda reprogrammed it and fixed the problem they stated how sluggish the transmission is. This makes me sick considering I supposedly had a rebuild not even a year ago. So now I`m going to have to pay another transmission place for work. NEVER EVER go to these people. You will be told nothing but lies, ripped off, and treated like an inconvenience instead of a customer. This has been a nightmare for me. Not to mention there were horrible scratches on my bumper when I got the car back and grease all over my headliner.

Definitely a sub-par experience. My van broke down near this shop, so I had it towed there for convenience. I wish I`d done more research beforehand. Was charged $1400 for transmission repair, but just days after paying and taking delivery of the van, I noticed that reverse gear was slipping, eventually disappearing altogether. When I took the van back to get it repaired again under warranty, it took them nearly a... view moren entire month to complete the work. The vast majority of that period of time, the van sat in the lot untouched. During this time, I was told repeatedly that they`d begin work "today or tomorrow," and the times came and went. In addition to this, the person you`ll be dealing with as you drop off and pick up your vehicle (Charlie) is frequently rude and behaves as though you`re being unreasonable when you call or stop by to check on the status of a repair. This is especially unacceptable when the reason the vehicle is even in their possession is because a previously-paid-for repair was not completed successfully. To make matters worse, I did not receive a call when the work was finally completed. I just happened to notice that the van had been moved to a different spot in their lot when driving by one day and stopped in to check. Charlie claimed that the van had been repaired for "days on days on days." I pointed out that I`d not received a call, and he said that he`d gotten busy and forgot about it. I would not recommend Tenn Trans Tech if you`re looking for friendly, prompt, professional service.
