Scam artists get irate if you don`t agree...
My wife took our 2000 Windstar minivan in for an oil change. After they changed the oil they then began their routine - Find anything that doesn`t look perfect and create a list of critical repairs. It is unusual to not be told there are at least $1000 of work that needs to be done immediatly.
Here`s two typical items: Dry rot you need to replace all the tires. Check engine light, need $99 diagnostic. B... view moreTW the tires are fine and Autozone does a free diagnostic if you don`t have a code reader.
All that charade is expected from Firestone. My wife knows not to do allow any additional work. We expect a massive list and $$$$ of life safety work....
The bad part (if the above does not give you pause) is the guy that called my wife`s cell phone to tell her about the problems started making fun of her after he got off of the phone. She was sitting in the waiting area. My wife is a gentile lady, polite, and kind. She certainly does not deserve to be mocked. What horrible people!!!

This place is a JOKE!!
This place is a total scam!! My wife`s car was acting up. So me, being new to the area, decided to take her car to Firestone. They gave me a call and told me to fix her car in would run me upwards of $900. Sounding a bit expensive, I told them to let me think about it. 3 minutes later, I got another call from them, this time they said that they could get the car running right for around $400 and some change. Thi... view mores obviously raised an eyebrow with me. I decided to just take her car elsewhere. Upon picking up the car, I was charged with a $115.00 diagnostic fee for them to just look at the vehicle. I drove 45 minutes to my old mechanic, and they fixed the car for $227.00 TOTAL!! Tax, labor, and parts!! Don`t make the same mistake I did. These people will steal your money!!

Rip Off - Fraud
I went to Firestone to have my break pads replaced. I drive a Ford F-150 2006 and only had 35K miles at the time. They took it in the back to review it and gave me an estimate of needed services that totaled over $2,100.00 !!!
They told me that my rotors were shot and that I need 4 new ones totaling over $1,000.00!!! I am a man that knows a little bit about brakes and I was suspicious because my rotors were st... view moreill with in the safe factory margins by Ford even if you machined off .7 and .5 is the max on a rotor finish. I told them to just put on new pads and they would not do it unless I let them put on the new rotors. I made them put my tires back on and I took it to another Brake Shop who told me that my rotors were fine and that I almost got ripped off. I still ended up paying $19.99 to Firestone just for them to take the tires off and try to rip me off.
Try these folks at your own risk!

Fraud...Stay away from this store!
I went to Firestone to get an oil change...that`s it...an oil change. They gave me a list of over $2000 of work I needed done. One of the ""problems"" with my car was that I needed a new car battery. My car battery is only 4 months old! Are you kidding me? I took my car to Precision Tune on Nolensville Road the next time, and they did not recommend any additional services to my car. Since then, 6 months later, n... view moreo problems have occurred with my car. This company should not be trusted. If they recommend you get additional work done, get a 2nd opinion before getting the work done.

Service Level Has Gone DOWN
I will never go back to Firestone. I had a bad customer service rep. The idea about auto service places treating women like they`re stupid with cars - so true here. CS guy I was working with called me `baby`; was on the verge of yelling when explaining that I needed my brake fluid flushed; oh...and he forgot to tell me that when they stripped my lug nuts (and thank you for replacing those) they stripped the hub of my... view more tire and put myself and my 11 month old baby at risk. I could care less about cosmetics of a car, but when you step over the line of safety - that`s an issue. They fixed my hub and towed my car to their location on them, but they would not have if I never brought it up and had been firm. I used to love to go to this Fstone, but never again. Their quote was MUCH higher than Walmart (and even if I got Fstone tires from Walmart - $10 cheaper) and Budget Brakes. Brake fluid flush - that`s a wash and unnecessary. I know I`m not the only person that has had a bad experience with this company - it`s funny the stories you hear after having a bad experience.

Very Satisfied
This place I`m referring to is located near Walmart. The manager Chris is special. A very nice man. He is very sincere and has convinced me he is honest and will go out of his way to satisfy a customer. The service performed was good. No complaints. The way Chris runs that shop is with Honesty and integrity. As long as he is there I will take my business there.
