Although Jack is officially retired, you`ll still find him helping customers a few days a week. Jack has been a member of this community for more than 50 years. In 1952 he came to Aiken to work with his uncle at Rogers Tire and Battery on Laurens Street. Learning everything from how to buy tires to how to run the business helped prepare Jack for opening his own store 23 years later. Son Jimmy Rogers and daughter Jenny "Virginia" Johnson are the co-owners but really consider themselves customer service representatives. Customer Service is the number one goal. Jack credits much of the success of Jack Rogers Tire to strong support from the community and his church home, St. Johns United Methodist. Many loyal customers date back to the Rogers Tire and Battery days and the Rogers` wouldn`t have it any other way. With 245 years combined experience between the Rogers` and their employees, you can count on the same people from day to day and year to year.
