I paid a visit to Leader Ford a week or so ago. Let me just say I will not be back. While waiting, I heard a conversation between 2 employees in the show room. Lets just say the conversation seemed uncomfortable to say the least. One employee was using some pretty offensive language to the other employee. To my surprise, I later learned that the employee using the inappropiate language was in fact the owner! I ... view morewas warned by friends & others not to do business w/ Leader Ford due to other reasons such as untrained management & his lack of knowledge & arrogance, but was willing to give the benefit of the doubt. I was shocked to witness this. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism diplayed. There was also a woman present sitting at a desk well with in ear shot of the conversation. This woman never looked up the whole time. I later learned that it was infact the owner`s wife. I can not begin to tell you how disgusted I was at this display. I will never darken the door again nor will I recommend Leader Ford to anyone. Very distasteful.

I stopped in Leader Ford to lo...
I stopped in Leader Ford to look at a new Mustang. The salesman I talked to (Kaleb - nice guy) spent some time with me and answered all my questions. Soon he introduced me to the ?ˆ?Floor Manager?ˆ? and the subject of a test drive came up. The test drive offered, in the presence of the floor manager, was not your normal 3 mile loop. Kaleb offered me the car for several hours so that I could get a good feel for the ... view morecar. This was done in the presence of the floor manager, who nodded his head in agreement. I didn?ˆ™t want to do it that day, but we did set a time for the next week. On the agreed upon day, I went to Leader Ford. Kaleb wasn?ˆ™t there, so I talked to the ?ˆ?Floor Manager?ˆ?. I told him who I was and he said he remembered me. I told him I was there for a test drive and he asked if I was just going to take the car ?ˆ?up the road?ˆ?. I said no, I?ˆ™d like to take it for a little while longer. He then copped an attitude and offered the car for no more than 30 minutes. Remember this was the guy who nodded his head up and down when I was offered a multiple hour test drive. I said I?ˆ™d like to take it a little longer than that, maybe for about 40 miles worth. He made a face, then said between 30 and 45 minutes. I said OK and then he went for the keys. He told me not to speed ?ˆ“ it was a 5.0 Mustang with a 6 speed ?ˆ“ and it was not your normal good natured request. When I went out to the car, the gas tank was empty. This was the end of it. If a car dealership is going to be rude and unprepared BEFORE the sale, imagine what they?ˆ™ll be like after the sale. I went back inside and gave the keys to the floor manager and left, with a half hearted ?ˆ?Sorry?ˆ? coming from the floor manager. I wouldn?ˆ™t deal with them after this.
