Beware of the $79.95 Doagnoisis fee and rude general manager

HI a friend of mine and myself took his 1999 Ford Explorer by this dealership to try to find out why the oil pressure guage stopped working, after an oil change at Wal Mart. The guage had for some unknown reason had stopped past the stop peg at the bottom of the guage, and was being prevented form moving up because of it stopping below. This is observable by looking at it and a skilled mechinic could see this in 5 se... view moreconds or less by looking at it. When being told there would be a $79.95 diagnosis fee for this service ,after the fact, lets face it who in their right mind would pay 80.00 to be told that they needed a new guage, we decieded to speak with the general manager concerning the excessiveness of the charge, a big mistake. He was uncernered and unwilling to make a satisified customer and after getting very rude and obnoxius stated the the charges stood and walked away. He also commented that he had to pay his staff and was unconcerned the my friend worked at Wal Mart and makes $7.80/hr, and this amount was more than a days wages for him, for nothing ,and was a service that took less than 15 minutes. I was actually considering purchasing a Ford product to use in a business but at this point I would never ever consider it, no wonder Ford is in financial trouble, their customer service is non existant
