I am very displeased with my purchase of my used honda. When I purchased the car the hood of the car was discolored the salesman stated to me that it was cosmetic and could fixed with buffing. with two attempts by the car dealership the hood looks worse than before. Before I even made my first car payment the window on the passenger side was not coming up and down properly. Took it by the dealership they said because... view more it was not the motor which would of been covered under my extended warranty i would have to pay to get it fixed. I thought that by me buying a car from a reputable car dealership I would not encounter these issues so early in this process. I guess I was wrong.I would not recommend this car dealership to an enemy. Especially when it comes to buying used car from there. Sincerely stuck with this used honda ( which is supposed to be a good car) for 5 years.

Service department didn`t have a clue how to fix my car (under warranty), although I gave them specific pictures of how the gauges were malfunctioning and the hybrid battery was showing no charge then totally charged within a minute. They `updated` it which seems to have made the problem worse. When I started the car while still IN their service department it again showed the same problem as no charge in the hybrid b... view moreattery. They all ran around then got the service manager who told me to drive it around and my ELECTRICAL problem was because I got my oil changed at Walmart. (although I get very expensive oil at Walmart). Incompetent, rude and clueless is all I can say.

I was very unhappy with the se...

I was very unhappy with the service department at Breakaway Honda. I took my van in twice because of noise and shaking in the front end. I told them that I was driving on a 700 mile (each way) car trip and I needed this figured out. The service manager and the lead service technician both did a ride along and said there was nothing wrong and that is how my van is supposed to ride. I took it somewhere else and it turn... view moreed out that I needed new tie rods on the passanger side. Two times they said nothing was wrong. I will never take any of my vehicles there for service EVER again. My family`s safety is too important to me.

Rude Inconsiderate Shuttle Driver

Took my Honda in for an airbag recall. They said it would be 2 hours. Turned out to be 5. The shuttle driver (Shenequa?) chose to take the customer from Greer home first, even though my house is 2 miles away. I sat in the car for an hour listening to rap music. She didn`t speak a word to me or the other customer. Rude shuttle driver. Long car-less day.

Call Bud at Breakaway

This is a nice dealership close to Greenville, and is very competitive for new car deals. Before buying from the other local honda dealers give them a call. Ask for Bud, he helped me and was fair and knowledgeable. I bought a Ford Explorer from him and was very happy with the price and whole experience. Hope this helps!
