Reviews:
I went to the Mt. Pleasant, SC Tire Kingdom because I had a long-term service contract via another store in the franchise. It took little time to realize that the quality I had found elsewhere did not carry over to this store. I found that work poorly done, high prices, and a simple lack of concern for customers is their signature. You might be quoted a good initial price, but the quality of original work and any ... view morefollowing returns stand a very good chance of disappointing. Look elsewhere; there are certainly better automotive shops in the city.

This is the biggest joke of an auto-mechanic shop I`ve ever been to. They sound nice on the phone until you get the services done and find out something else is wrong. I took my car to get the oil change package which included oil change, tire rotation and some other things. Two days after, I tried to use my horn and the horn wouldn`t blow. I called them and asked if there was any reason why my horn would be working ... view morebefore I took my car to them and not work immediately after. Of course they assured me they don`t go near the horn. I took my car to another mechanic I found and they checked it out and explained that the horn fuse was missing from the fuse box and that someone must have pulled it out for it to be gone. He kindly replaced it for free. Hmmmm. Looks like good ol Tire Kingdom tried to get me to return. Come to find out, my roommate took his car there to get some work done and immediately after, his air conditioning stopped working. Sounds like a trend. This just goes to show you that you need to do some research before getting work done on your vehicle. Hope this helps prevent other people from getting scammed in the future by these scumbags.

Pleasant experience... no complaints.
I had a good experience without any problems. I`ll certainly come back and felt the value was good.

Check behind them!!!!!
I have been taking my car there for a couple of years now. Since the beginning they have always claimed something to be wrong with my car every single time I take it in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. The quote they give is always outrageous. My family owns a similar business out of town and when I take it there to confirm what they are telling me, they can find nothing wrong with it. But, I have conti... view morenued to take it to TK because it is convenient for just a quick oil change and tire rotation.
But, I have used them for the last time. I recently dropped my car off for the same quick oil change and tire rotation. I had some errands to run so I didn`t stay to wait on it. After two hours, still no phone call. So I called to check on their progress. I was told ""Oh yeah, it`s ready...the person who parked your car must have forgot to call you."" When I went to pick it up I went in and paid and then got in my car. I noticed that my car was parked in the exact same spot, my seat had not been moved, the sticker in the window had not been changed, and the lugnut key left in the cup holder hadn`t been moved. This set off warning bells for me. When I got home I insisted that my husband check the oil and oil filter. The oil clearly hadn`t been changed and the oil filter was filthy.
They did not try to deny it and they DID make it right (which is why they even get the one star). But it just left me feeling like they maintain shady practices at this particular establishment. From now on I will be marking my oil filter and one tire to be certain what I paid for was actually done no matter where I take it. I won`t be going back to TK for anything though.

Incredible Service
Amazing customer service! We drove down to South Carolina. After arriving we noticed that one of our tires was low. We took it in to Tire Kingdom in Mt. Pleasant and they found a shell had punctured our tire causing a leak. They felt so bad that this happened to us on vacation that they patched our tire for free. I have never had such incredible customer service!!

Unprofessional
Tires were rotated at the time of an oil change. When getting ready to go I noticed the low tire pressure indicator was on. I asked them to check out. The person did not check manufacturer recommendation and filled tires to 40 - 42 lbs. unsafe and inappropriate. I had someone else check pressure after noticing a dramatic change in the "ride". I will not go back.

Will Not Return this time!
My husband and I have been going to this Tire Kingdom for nearly 4 years for oil changes as the location is close to home. Over the past 2 years, the mechanics here have made so many mistakes that we will never go back. Currently, my husband is spending his second day (2nd time of it in the shop) waiting to get his brakes fixed after the drums were messed up following a routine tire rotation/oil change. We have als... view moreo twice left the store with oil caps that were not screwed on all the way, causing oil to spill into the engine. The only upside is that the store has given us comps for each problem (although we will never go back again.) Definitely would not recommend!
