Reviews:
Badddd experience, they would not pass my new 2013 car inspection and came up with so many BS reasons...just crazy. If you are going to do inspections then please know the laws! Next day took it to the dealer and no questions asked and passed with know problems. Will never go back for either of my cars! Wish I had the option to not give a "star" at all!

Stay Away! Scam!
This one is right behind Harris Teeter near Ballantyne Common Pkwy across from BP gas station. I went there for an oil change and brake inspection. I was first in line and the the man behind the counter called the lady behind me instead of me. I told him that I was infront of her and he had to serve me but he looked a little bit upset that his friend was serving this nice lady instead of him. The man quoted me $40 do... view morellars for an oil change + tax and I showed him my $10 off coupon valid until next month. He did not even look at the coupon and told me ""it is a package price"". I told him I just simply wanted an oil change, no tire rotation or whatsoever don`t you honor your own coupon? He shaked his head and still didn`t even look at the coupon. You know why? because they knew that it was their bait to bring you in. I went to read more about these place and felt happy that I did not have them serviced my car. Otherwise, I could be ending up like customer Mackenzie2010 described.

HORRIBLE CHEATING CROOKS! ***BEWARE**
About 6 months ago i moved to the area and this shop was sooo close to my house i was actually happy because of the convience. First thing i needed a whoele new set of tires and went to them to get the tires. After that i eventually needed an oil change so i took my car there (i wont mention how much they tried to up sale me on both of these occasions). When i picked my car up from getting the oil changed they told m... view moree **all of the sudden** there were like 6 things that needed to be done to my car RIGHT AWAY! So after deliberating i decided to get some of these things fixed, throwing about $800 more into their store. Next i needed to get my car inspected so i took it there of course (even though i read all the reviews about how crooked they are with inspections) i gave them the benefit of the doubt. Let me just say i have had the same car for 8 years and never changed anything of the car cosmetically (paint/tint/rims) they then called me and told me that my car failed for the first time is 8 years for the same tint that has been on it every single time i have gotten it inspected (fyi i had taken it to other big chain shops in the past and never had a problem, i hadnt been taking it to a small town back woods inspection shop). Oh AND THEY STILL MADE ME PAY FOR IT FAILING. My thing is, the same guy always handeled my car when it was up there, so why when i said i needed it inspected could he not have been a decent human being and said ""hey just to let you know your tint may cause you not to pass inspection"" i mean give a heads up since i have dropped over $2000 in her damn store within the last 3 months. Moral of the story, i took it somewhere down the road & it passed. ALL THEY WANT AT THIS LOCATION IS YOUR MONEY (duh its a business) but they are very rude and obvious about it, i see that now!!!!!!

Flawless Service
I setup an appointment on their website for 4pm and when I stopped by they took my car in at the time I had reserved, and the repair took only a couple of minutes longer than the lady at the counter told me.
The place was super busy, and from reading the other comments it made sense the waiting times would be long if you just walked in.
When you don`t have to time to idle, the smart thing is to call ahead or m... view moreake an appointment online. If you didn`t, you have no right to complain that the Firestone, Goodyear, AAA, Walmart car care, wherever, is making you wait because you decided to walk in out of the blue.

Rip Off Artist
Will try to sell you tires even if you dont need them. Tell you things are broken when they are not and will not show you whats wrong citing ""dont have a service technician available at this time."" Very Shady.
Went to the dealer was told only need brakes which i went to firestone for. Firestone was charging 1000 for the breaks while dealership did for 300.

Small, Can Never Get in
I`m new to the area and was trying to find a place nearby to have my car serviced. I took it to Firestone by Ballantyne Resort. To get a basic oil change was 1 day notice unless I wanted to wait 2 hours in their small, 4 chair waiting room where the Sun beat on you. No thanks. I ended up calling Carolina Tire where I got right in and the place is huge with a cool kids room where my daughter played.
