Poor Work and No Communication

We recently had our car serviced at the South Blvd AAA Car Care center...never again will that happen. Not only were they training several people, but an appointment for a simple oil change and tire rotation took 3.5 hours. On several occasions the manager would disappear and would finally come back saying that they were short staffed and waiting for the next step in the process. We ended up having an alignment do... view morene and when the report was requested "printer problems" came up and they did not want to provide the report. Finally the manager hand wrote the before/after values, but there was a LOT of resistance, and pure (and I believe deliberate) lack of communication to the customer. DON`T GO THERE!!!

Consumers Beware

Consumers beware! The center misdiagnosed my daughter`s car problem stating that she needed a new cam sensor center system (costing approx. $480). When she balked and had the car towed to a GM Goodwrench Center across the street, the GM folks stated she just needed a new battery and a reset of the cam sensor center. I called AAA Automark later asking for a waiver on the diagnostic fee that they charged and got... view more a big run-around with no answer. Based on their response/or the lack thereof, they may have been trying to take advantage of a 23 year old who just moved to the Charlotte area.

No Fix But Pay Me

AAA always had a good name in my book until I had to use their service outside of roadside assistance. In my overall experience with dealing with the employees of this facility, I would not recommend this place to anyone; not even my worse enemy. If you are a woman, please do not go into this place alone or they will take advantage of you. I should have known better when they told me that they could not tell me the p... view morerice of repair for a specific item unless you come into their facility, that it was going to be all bad. I was told to get a diagnostic done on my car that would not start. Per the repair man, the diagnostic came back that my timebelt needed to be replaced. This was like someone punching me in my side. I knew right away it would be expensive. I decided that my car is paid for so I might as well move around some funds and allow them to fix it. They told me they could not do it that day because they was going to close soon but they would call me in the morning after it was done. The shop open at 8am and I received a call at 11:05am. The repair man said, I have bad news. Your engine is actually damaged and the entire engine need to be replaced. I was in shocked and immediately my heart broke. I told him I do not have money to replace the engine. I will just have it towed back home. Then he says you have to pay me for 4 hours of labor of $432.00. I told them that I will not pay for labor when the timebelt base on their diagnostic did not resolve the issue. I escalated to their manager who second his repairman. They then informed me that I had to pay them this money or they will keep my car at a holding facility as an abandoned vehicle.
