SHELL RAPID LUBE ROCKS!!!!
I have been going to Connie Cannon at Shell Rapid Lube for 3 years, now, and have had NOTHING but wonderful experiences with them. Connie has always bent over backwards to make sure that I am well taken care of. I would not hesitate to call her or Steve Krumins at any time for any thing to do with my vehicle. This woman is nuts!!!

This was the Worst treatment I have ever recived from any business
This place was horrible. I took my car in b/c I needed my brakes changed. First of all they told me it would be 125.xx just for a brake pad change with a FREE brake inspection... that doesn`t even include turning the rotors if its needed. I ended up having to leave my car there to go to a previous engagement. When I called them to let them know I had a friend who would do the work for free, they told me I wouldn`t b... view moree able to take my car. They had already taken apart and bled my brake lines. They had also thrown away my old brakes. They told me I would have to pay the 125.xx for the brake job plus I would needs 2 new rotors on the back @ $80 bucks a piece and new brake calipers on the back at $400+ a piece. ( and this is just parts, this doesn`t include Labor) I called auto-zone to price check this. I, as a non-mechanic I could by rotors for my car for $14 a piece and calipers for $89.99. Also the top of the line brakes are only $25 for two, And this is with the parts already marked up for retail... When I confronted the manager Connie about the obvious price gouging her reply was "we have to make money". These people were obviously trying to take advantage of me as a young woman. They saw their chance to charge what ever they wanted b/c they didn`t think I would check up on them. I told them that I wanted my car to be put back together the way it was when I brought it in, but of course they couldn`t w/o doing the work b/c they`d already bled my brake lines and thrown away my old brake pads. When I confronted them about this and offered to have a cop called they acted as if I was showing out. When the cop came out he explained that unfortunately he could not force them to fix the car and that I could not drive my car out of there.
I HAD TO PAY FOR A TOW TRUCK! Then to Beat it all the girl told me it would be $20 for the "free" brake inspection. When I informed her that earlier she had told me it would be free she said, "that was only if we do the work".
When it was all said and done they probably would have charged me 2000+ dollars to fix something that my husband`s friend did for $250.
And then to beat it all 2 months later I had a flat tire on hwy385. When my husband came out to put on my spare tire three of the lugs on my front passenger tire had been cross threaded and I could not even drive home on my spare. So Yet again I had to call a tow truck. When I tried to call Greenville Auto Repair and speak to the Owner about the unsatisfactory service and a reimbursement for the tow due to the fact that his incompetent mechanic cross threaded my lugs, he was rude and combative and told me he would do nothing that it "wasn`t his problem." and I shouldn`t even bother b/c he was not going to help. I have never been treated so poorly by any company in my entire life. I personally cannot believe they are still in business.
