BUYER BEWARE.GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. WARRANTY MEANS NOTHING
$400 brake pads+oil change+ rotors
I went to this business as per their reviews.
I had my brakes looked over and brake pads replaced with a oil change.
$200 which seemed high but the rep said it included a warranty. Did not mention my rotors.
The next day my car began clicking on the brake.. I go back and they drive it around, no clicking anymore.. Th... view moreey apparently sanded down the rotors.. I asked "Do I need rotors? "Maybe next time they said".
The next day it was worse! They were not available to fix the problem then, nor did I have time to drive all the way back. Saturday I went to a Brakes for Less and lost my warranty to have them help. The mechanic explained that whoever worked on my car put some lubricant on top of the problem and filed down the rotors so much that they couldn`t even be saved. So I had to replace them which should have been done in the first place. The overall problem was my calipers.
Brakes for Less +1
They should have recommended changing the rotors in the first place, they should have corrected the issue at my second visit.

I took my car to a local dealership and was told it would cost me $2100.00 to fix it. My brother recommended A Plus Auto Service. They fixed my car for $1500.00 a $600 savings. Not only were they cheaper but the dealership told me I needed work done that A Plus said was unnecessary. Cheaper and honest! My car is running beautifully. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Consummate professionals- The staff at A+ is friendly and knowledgeable.
Value- Thier prices are competitive on parts and services when researching on the internet.
Getting it right- I have been taking my car to A+ for the past three years for services ranging from the routine to those that require diagnostics. They have fixed my car to my satisfaction each time.
Military friendly- I am going to miss having a ... view morego-to mechanic, especially one that gives a discount for military.

Trustworthy, personal, and cost-effective service
A Plus Auto Service provides personal, cost-effective service, and I trust the mechanics. That trust is very important to me. As a single woman, I feel that they are being honest and not overcharging me.
I initially started using A Plus Auto because I knew one of the mechanics and was impressed that they were able to keep my older car running for many more years than I thought possible. The car was 14 years old w... view morehen I donated it to charity and it was still running.
A Plus Auto has also worked on my 1993 Honda and 2003 Camry. I appreciate that they are fast and, if I call to schedule an oil change, they are usually able to get me in and out quickly. They provide a nice lobby area to sit in while you wait.
Their prices on parts are good and they are good about telling you what work is necessary, what is going to need to be done. They also keep you on your preventive maintenance schedule, which I appreciate.

Beware of A Plus Auto Service
I took my car in to have the air repaired. They over charged me (confirmed by other local shops), then argued with me about the other mechanics qualifications! Completely unprofessional and rude. Rodney, the guy I spoke with, lost my business for this company and hopefully you will stay clear of A Plus Auto on Montague!
I should have gone to Geralds... "Where they know how to treat a lady!"
Beware of A plus Auto ... view moreand their overbilling practices!

Thank You from the Blakes
Thank you so much for all you do to keep our cars on the road. It means so much to us to have a mechanic we know is honest and whom we can trust.
