I had gone here previously in search of a couple of tires for my pickup truck 245/75 R16 load range E as the two on the front were worn out, yet the ones on the back had about 50% left. They did not have the correct tires for my truck, yet it seemed like an honest, fair sort of place. I purchased four new tires at another dealer and called Gardner and asked them if they would want the two tires that were still good. ... view moreThey said they would take them. (It?ˆ™s better for the planet and all if they could be reused) I went through the inconvenience of saving the tires for them, driving them over and then, the owner I guess, looks at them and said ?ˆ?we have enough of these?ˆ? and gave me no other reason for not wanting them. I said that that was not what I had been told on the phone. He said that they said that ?ˆ?they would take a look at them?ˆ?. When I protested he then started yelling at me and saying FU. I really went out of my way to do this company a favor that would benefit them and the environment and instead ended up in a heated exchange. If they had been hesitant about taking the tires on the phone I would not have dealt with them in the first place. If he had said there was something wrong with the tires I could have understood that, but ?ˆ?we already have enough of these?ˆ?. If they already had enough then why didn?ˆ™t they have any when I went looking for them, and why would they have even wanted to ?ˆ?take a look at them?ˆ?? They put me out of my way and mistreated me.
