Bought a 1994 Ranger Pickup 4X4 here about 1.5 years ago. I expected that there would be some issues as it is an old truck. However, this has been the truck from Hell! I had it about 2 months when the engine blew. They paid half to fix it but the price was still over $1,700. Not including normal things like a blown tire and my brake pedal not functioning, I had other major repairs. Both front calipers had to be... view more replaced along with new brake pads. My brakes seized up tight one night while taking my son to a baseball game. The most recent major repair was for my transmission/clutch as it would not shift without grinding after it warmed up a little. E-town Motors said it was the clutch`s Master Cylinder which they would repair for about $550. They also warned me that it could be the slave cylinder which is in the transmission, this they said would be a lot more expensive as they had to drop the transmission and take apart to repair. Needless to say, I went elsewhere. This other dealer repaired the master cylinder and the slave cylinder for under $500. They also replace the bolts that were missing from the transmission as it was not attached to the truck. E-town Motors may have forgotten that detail when they replaced the engine. Also, my daughter had an accident and had to replace the engine in her car, this other dealer did it for $1,500 including the engine. E-town Motors charged me over $1,700 and said they had paid the other half of the cost. Hmmmm - Needless to say I will not use this company again.
