Took my vehicle in for a check...
Took my vehicle in for a check engine light a few days ago. The previous shop I took the car too (2001 Cavalier) told me that I needed a $200 diagnostic procedure and then whatever the additional repair would be, needless to say I said no! My neighbor referred me to Pinnacle as he has been a longtime customer of theirs. Zach at Pinnacle took me in on short notice, had a mechanic hook a computer up to my car free of c... view moreharge, gave me an estimate, and replaced the faulty oxygen sensor that was setting my check engine light. All of this for less than the other guy told me just to look at it! Nice, honest guys. And you can`t go wrong dealing with a business thats been family run for 50 years. Definitly recommend!!

Tried it 2 times, stay away from them!
Hi everyone,
I was told by my neighbor to go to the Pinnacle on Brownsville, and it was close and convenient for me.
WHAT A BIG MISTAKE!
The first time I went for an oil change on our Mazda 6 with 20.000 miles on it, and they put oil in that specifically says 75.000 miles plus for older cars! I was in the garage and saw it!!! But the price was ok, so I thought ""well, could be worse"".
A couple of month later... view more I went there with our Jeep to get it state inspected, and it did not pass (which I pretty much knew, but I wanted to know if it might pass or at least what I need to get done). Ok, no biggy, I said well, do not repair, I take the car with me.
So when I got the invoice at the desk for the state inspection, it had all items on there, that I NEVER GOT AND THEY CHARGED FOR IT! There was lubricants and little stuff like this on it, plus they had the state inspection sticker on there for 2 or 3$. WTF? I didn`t even get that one! Their response was ""the system puts that always in automatically""
RIPOFF !!!!
And I heard bad things about them from other people, too. I wish I would have asked around earlier, before I brought our cars there!

THEY DAMAGED MY CAR AND LIED ABOUT IT
DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP! THEY DAMAGED MY CAR ON PURPOSE THEN LIED ABOUT IT!
Took my car out for quotes on a simple front brake replacement. This place put my car up, removed the wheels and told me I needed new rotors and new brake pads. Quoted me about $150 more than everyone else who looked at it because they claimed I needed extra parts. I thanked them for looking and the quote, but I wanted another opinion. I... view more watched them use an air gun to tighten my wheels back on and I left.
The next mechanic I went to had to turn the lug nuts so hard a bolt snapped off. It was so tight there was no other way to get the tire off. The honest mechanic showed me the torque they used was too high and how they had cross threaded the nut.
When I went back to Pinnacle and asked them if they could do anything to fix their mistake. They were immediately rude and aggressive. They blamed the mechanic who had to remove the bolt and I asked them why he would not just take a nut off? The heavy guy named Mike who answers the phone said I deserved it since I wasted his time earlier when I brought my vehicle to them because I did not pay their inflated prices.
I asked to speak to the manager and was directed to the owner`s son, I assume because he looked young enough to be in school and he shares his father`s height. I was immediately treated like an idiot for suggesting they might be at fault.
I asked if they always measure the torque on the lug nuts when they put them on. The ""manager"" said they always use a torque wrench to apply the correct amount of torque when installing tires. I asked why exactly a lug nut tightened with a torque of 90 pounds would snap the bolt off my hub when a man tried to unscrew it- with a bar. He lied again and told me they did- even when I SAW them use an air powered impact gun to attach my tires.
Thanks to them I am driving with only three bolts holding that tire on. All my friends have told me these guys are crooks. Now you know my story, Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
If you want to be talked down to, insulted, ignored, and robbed- This is your place!!!

Do not go to car dealer, go here
The most hoest people. I went there for my 30,000 miles car maintenance. I asked them if htere is a value package for it. They answered "" No"". They said that they do whatever needed to be done. Everything was fine with my car. I just needed oil changed. I saved lots of money here instead of going to a car dealer and have unnecessary repairs and parts exchanges. Highly recommended !!!

To whom it may concern, I am disappointed with your service because your machanics repaired my car last week and every since then my car keeps stalling on me and at times won` t start. I have brought my car back to your shop twice to be looked at for the problem but your machanic keeps telling me that there is nothing wrong because my car doesn`t stall on them. well if they would drive it out of the shop then they w... view moreould understand the problem. I did not have this problem before they put the new rack and pinion ever, and I have had this car for more than a year. I am sorry but I am going to talk with my attorney to see what can be done about this problem if something is not done.
