I?ˆ™d give less than 1 star if I could. I brought my car to this shop because of a positive review on another site that I mistakenly thought was real. 1st they forgot to look at my car when they said they would, then acted like they were doing me a favor to give me an estimate on the repair I requested. 2nd when they called the next day, they gave me a high estimate $543.62 to replace power steering hose (289 ... view moreparts 254 labor). I said thanks but no thanks, it?ˆ™s an old beat-up car and I?ˆ™m not looking to sink that much money into it. 1996 Isuzu Trooper - I?ˆ™ll drive it, sell it, junk it - the vehicle is not worth much. To be fair, I offered to pay for their diagnostic time. Although when I dropped it off, I told them what I thought was wrong. Greg called me back a few minutes later to tell me they had 2 hours into it but he would ?ˆ?do me a favor?ˆ? and only charge me for 1. I asked him what the H#!! would take them 2 hours to diagnose a leaky power steering hose that I told them about up front? He said only 10 minutes was spent on the car, the other time was spent on the phone and internet researching the parts. I got off the phone googled the parts and within 4 minutes found them for $53.61 including shipping. I don?ˆ™t mind paying service providers a fair amount for their time and talents, but this is ridiculous. I?ˆ™ll never take my car here again. It?ˆ™s places like this that give the industry a bad reputation.
