We have been doing business with DJ repair for years. Communication needs some work. I took my car in to get work done. Dropped it off on a Sunday (did not have an appointment) due to car not running at all. Talked to mechanic everthing seemed fine. Tuesday car was still not in...they were closed on Wed due to holiday. So I called asking when car might get in...they said there was only 1 mechanic that day so i... view moret would not get in until thursday or friday. Told them that I would probably be in to pick it up that afternoon. Because at this point my husband decided to fix the problem. Fuel pump! Didnt know that they double price from auto parts store until we did research. I receive a message with an estimate of how much the job was going to cost from DJ. An hour later I get another call that says my car is done. Funny, how it wasnt getting in until later in the week, until I said that I was picking it up. Want to know why....$324.00 for the fuel pump kit from Napa...my bill from DJ 752.and some odd cents! $62.00 per hour for mechanic (he put 2 hours down) the rest was for fuel pump. Oh, and on a side note...I also ask him to inspect the car and check air condition. Their words were "we didnt have the time". Sounds like greed to me!
