Let me tell you about the bad ...

Let me tell you about the bad experience I had a Denardo`s. 1st the reason I took my car to Denardo`s was because it was a State Farm approved shop & there were so many good ratings. After my experience I would not go back or recommend this shop to a friend. Please beware of their lousy service, lack of communication, high rates for service, & lack of follow through: 1. Dropped my car off 1st thing (8a)... view more on a Monday & never heard from them about an estimate until I called on Wednesday at 4pm. The said they hadn`t taken a look at it yet. (3 full days of car rental). 2. I was away on business the next week & they called to say my car was going to be ready on Wednesday or Thursday. I stated I would pick it up on Saturday because I was away. Called on Saturday, they found paint splatter on my car (which they fixed at no charge), but my car wouldn`t be ready until Monday (3 more days of car rental). Since it was difficult for me to get to the shop, they said they would deliver my car to me on Monday & take my rental back. They wouldn`t credit me for my additional car rental. 3. Monday comes & I hadn`t heard anything from them by 3pm (they close at 5pm). I called Denardo`s & the woman stated their was no note to have my car delivered. She also said that there was no record of my car needing to be delivered & because it`s so late in the day, she said it would have to be tomorrow. I had an all day business meeting on Tuesday, so it would have be Wednesday (2 more days of car rental). I asked to be compensated for the car rental from Saturday to Wednesday & they refused. Escalated to State Farm, & they called the shop, where they were able to get them to deliver my car on the Monday & take my car rental. 4. I asked to have my car inspected & the oil change while it was at the shop. Denardo`s charged me $175 inspection & oil change. The receipt had no break down just a separate bill for $175. When I questioned the bill they said that`s how much it costs. 5. Denardo`s did take back my car rental, but waited an additional day, so I got charged an additional day rental. Escalated this to State Farm & now we are trying to recover this cost from Denardo`s. Please beware. I would never go back to this shop or recommend it to a friend.
