Red Run Exhaust

I dont like to see ANY negative comments about this place, they are the most honest, down to earth folks you will EVER deal with, and their pricing exceeds fair. I drive all the way from Harrisburg to bring my cars here, and I also send folks from all over the tri county area. They usually have a two week waiting list but its worth the wait. They wont fix anything that doesnt need fixing and will tell you. If somet... view morehing goes wrong after the fact, they will back it up. If you want a custom exhaust, its best to make an appt and talk to the guys in person who are going to install so that you are all on the same page. HIGHLY recommended.

good place to use

We have used this place a few times, the first time when the shop was still in REd Run. Prices are fantastic and work is good. I know many people that take their cars here to get work done and they are very satisfied. I had thought my cat converter was bad, but it was not and they did not charge me, as some places would have.

My Van Barking Thanks To Red Run

They installed duals on my Dodge Van around 7 years ago + gave me a great price so I had them install 2 1/2 exhaust on my Chevy van.

Poor customer service.

I made an appointment two weeks ahead of time and gave my cell phone so they could reach me. Dropped my truck off the night before and put my key (with my cell number on it) in the key drop. By the middle of the next day I had not heard anything. I called Red Run and the lady said my truck was done. She told me they had tried to call me several times. Buyer Beware

This shop did a custom cat-back exhaust for a friend of mine and welded directly to the catalytic converter which any GOOD mechanic can tell you should not be done. After the check-engine light came on with a catalytic converter code (less than 24 hours later) they told him that it was nothing they had done and that the converter was just bad... which was not the case. Very poor workmanship and very poor customer service, a shop should own up to their mistakes and stand behind their work, they did not.

Best Exhaust Shop Around!

I purchased my car used, and it came with a terribly loud can muffler... I literally couldn`t talk on the phone at 60 mph!

I was referred to Red Run, so I called them, and they installed a stainless muffler with a perfect sound, and replaced about 3 feet of pipe that wasn`t stainless so my whole system is now stainless.

It was over a year ago, so I don`t remember exactly what I paid, but I know it was v... view moreery reasonable.

Several months ago, my exhaust system started to really rattle. I called Red Run, made an appointment, and came in at the agreed time. They looked at it, determined that the rattle was caused by a factory hanger that had decayed, and replaced it free of charge! I felt they really went above their duty, since they hadn`t replaced the hanger in the first place, and therefore I hadn`t paid them for it.

I saw that their average rating was below 5 stars, so I had to write a review. I was very impressed by their service, and I also know they have a very good name in our local area.

Take a Look Lancaster County.

The ""big M"" in town estimated my repairs to be 700.00 to 1500.00 plus. An independant estimated 650.00 plus. Red Run`s estimate was 167.00 and a 45 min wait. But I had to wait 3 weeks. Was it worth the wait? Total of the bill was 159.00 including tax and labor. Did it fix the problem? And some. While I was waiting I observed 6 walk-ins. One Word - Awesome!

Have a daughter in college 4 hrs away. She has an old Honda - reliable, but things do happen. Exhaust & Cat. converter problems. She took it to a Honda dealer (understanding that probably would be the most expensive), and they confirmed the problems - est. $2500 to fix (and charged $98 to diagnose). Heard about Red Run.
