This people are crooks, they are avertising cars for sale as private owners on craigslist and then acting like your buying from a private owner Steve O at a Langhorne Auto Body and you dont even know your buying from a dealer until you see it listed on your pink slip. They listed the car on craigslist a 2001 Ford Tauras with 83,000 miles. I called and spoke to steve at Langhorne Auto who told me it was his car. Lo... view moreoked at the car drove it sounded great was advertised as great running car with a new tires and newly inspected. Bought it got it 10 miles on the highway when the check engine light went on and it started shaking really bad. Took it to my mecanic who told me the inspection stickers where not new but ran out in 3/2013 not 3/2014 (which i should have noticed but didnt) that all the tires where bold, it needed a catatac converter and a million other things were wrong with it. I called checkered who said noone ever told me it had new tires or was inspected when I was actually looking at the ad in front of me that said it. The bill so far is $850 and going up. They are now selling cars through other peoples small shops and advertising them as private owners. Dont buy from these people, I was told the battery was disconnected from the sensors and then reconnected so when i drove the car for a test drive the engine light didnt register yet. I was also told by my mecanic that the engine was steam cleaned to look new. This people are crooks and frauds! Run fast away from them!

I purchased a truck here and i was supposed to pay 100 dollars toward my inspection. he guaranteed and wrote wrote it down (which i did get a copy) he kept saying this truck ran 100% had no problems with it, he took it to his inspection place where they passed it. came back with headlight still not working which raised my concerns, so i took it to my inspection place. the truck failed miserably. the brakes were wore ... view moredown to the metal which ruined the rotors, ball joints were shot, headlight wiring had to be replaced, headgasket needed replacement, fuel pump was bad, window motor was bad battery was bad, and checkered flag auto refused his guarantee to help. i never meant a person who had lied so much and was so crooked. this was all over $3,000 in repairs!!! I wish ive read the first review and i would have avoided this dealer! save yourself heartache and AVOID this dealer.

Paid cash for a work vehicle f...
Paid cash for a work vehicle for my husband. Similar to other reviewer, told us the car was perfect. Battery died after a week. Took 2 months to get the title. Wouldn`t pass inspection because o2 sensors were bad and check engine light was literally CUT OUT of the dash (guessing so they didn`t have to fix it). They said to get it fixed and they would pay for it. The price I was quoted by the dealer was high so I doub... view morele checked with them since I didn`t want to lose my money. They said to bring it back (I already paid $80 at the dealer to have it checked out and they wouldn`t refund that for me. Brought it to them. They said their mechanic "drove it around" for 4 days and it drove fine. Obviously you can?ˆ™t "see" that O2 sensors are bad. Told me it passed PA inspection (we live in NJ) which was 20x better then NJ inspection so it would pass NJ. Took it to NJ and it failed again since their "mechanic" simply reset the codes thinking they wouldn`t come back up. They said they weren`t doing anything for me. I should be happy that I got a "perfect" car (claimed there still wasn`t anything wrong with it, guess I made up all of the failed inspection paper work up???) for "nothing" ($3000 cash) and stop complaining and take car of the "LITTLE" (quoted $1000 for the repairs) amount of work it needs. I mean, what with it being "perfect" and all.
They also proceeded to scream at me over the phone because I asked if they reset the codes when they found nothing wrong with it (which they did) for about 15 minutes saying how they wouldn`t ruin their reputation over a measly $3000 and they are honest (total BS!). They are con artists and will do anything to sell a POS car. Not to mention their customer service skills are rather....well, just missing. Now we are out money and had to deal with the aggravation of nasty sales men/ owners. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! You are better off getting a car from a junk yard, at least there you are told it`s junk.
