I went to this business because it was recommended to my husband by a coworker. I thought I was taking my car in for a routine inspection but soon was told I needed $1500 in repairs to pass inspection. We had bought the car within the last year and we had a mechanic look it over before purchasing it so I became suspicious of the numerous repairs they called for. Our friend could not find anything wrong with my car and it easily passed inspection at another garage. I was shocked at the blatant disrespect they have for customers. I am just glad my husband and I decided to take our vehicle elsewhere before having the repairs done.

STAY AWAY! Preys on automobile-ignorant. I hope a Firestone opens right across the street.

I do most of my own routine maintenance (oil changes, plugs, filters, etc.) and a little more than that if necessary (bodywork/diagnostics).

When my girlfriend`s car needed an alignment, I went out of my way to patronize a local tire shop, as opposed to a chain. Boy was that mistake! She`s young, (female), and in college, so when the service manager `Bob` called her to inform her that she also needed an inspec... view moretion a red flag went up. Sure enough, `Bob` called back soon to report the tech`s (`Randy`) findings:

1. New windshield wipers: _$23_
($6 @ WM, $9 at Advance, installed)
2. Polish headlights: _$115_
(could buy replacements on eBay at this price)
3. New fuel filter: (no estimate provided)
3. New tires: (no estimate provided)
(big surprise at a tire shop -- they passed inspection `but probably need to be replaced, ma`am`)

Later that afternoon when I came in to pay the balance, the front desk guy quoted me ""$80,"" without providing a breakdown of charges. After I paid with credit card, I discovered we`d paid $17 (PA inspection fail) for the privilege of being hustled.

I would not recommend this shop to anyone, especially someone who doesn`t know much about routine maintenance or how greasy, small-town tire shops operate.
