I bought a used Nissan Sentra from the Chambersburg Fitzgerald and it will be the last car I (or anyone I know) ever buys from them. I was in the market for a used car that was good on gas and under $10,000. They had a great Sentra that fit the bill. I took it for a test drive and everything seemed great. When I bought the car they scheduled for me to pick the car up the next day. When I arrived to pick the car up I noticed there was now a dent the size of someone?ˆ™s fist on the rear passenger side panel. The dent was certainly not there before, as it was REALLY glaringly visible and someone (my mom, dad, friend or I) would have noticed it. When I pointed the dent out to the salesman he said it was always there. There was no way and I fought it so they brought out his manager who offered to fix it for a ?ˆ?discounted rate.?ˆ? My friend who had taken the pictures was with me as they were my ride to pick the car up and they showed them the pictures on the phone where there was clearly no dent. They claimed you may not see it due to ?ˆ?lighting and angles.?ˆ? Needless to say, the dent never got fixed because I refused to give them a penny to fix something that got messed up while the car was on their lot and in their possession. Total bunch of jerks. I fell very mistreated by the services from your company. In June 2011 I bought a 2004 Ford Explorer. When I was in the process in buying this vehicle your company failed to put the correct price on the vehicle and when I asked about buying it they wanted to charge me about two thousand dollars more. The price that is shown on the window is what I`m grated to pay. When you shop anywhere the price that is shown is wha... view moret you pay, why should I be expected to pay more. Now the more recent event, on Friday the 6th of January about noon time while making a local drive my car begins to shake, I pulled over and called AAA to get a tow to my local garage. While the mechanic was pulling the vehicle out the tire fell of and damage my fender. Under the inspection on the mechanic he feels that all of the lug nuts on that one tire were not properly tightened. The only place the vehicle has been serviced at was Fitzgared prior to buying the vehicle and one oil change that took place at Fitzgerald. When I contacted the Chambersburg Fitzgerald where I bought the vehicle from their response is that they were not responsible, due to that someone may have tried to steal the tire. Yet, are all your mechanics qualified? Is there not a possibility that your mechanic could have neglected to tighten the lug nuts and could have resulted in a more serious accident or death? If I were traveling at a highway speed when this happened I could have died, yet I didn?ˆ™t I would like to be compensated for my loss. I am very unhappy and all I would like to see is that my damages that were caused due to lack of tight lug nuts would be paid for.
