I wish I had read the reviews before trusting my life to this place. I was told a higher price than online, I was told all was well with car I bought. I was lied to on the contract etc. Let me give you the highlights. When I took car to dealer I discovered the carfax he showed me (briefly then shoved back into a folder that was NOT part of my paperwork) was very old. There was a recall on the vehicle that resulted in... view more it needing 3000.00 dollars of work. There turned out to be an electrical issue, there was dry rot in the tires. Wheel bearings started going bad, oil pan rotted through, all engine and transmission mounts were weak, transmission cooler fitting was rotted and leaking, transmission pas was rotted and leaking, transfer case was rotted and leaking, front differential case and power steering lines were you guessed it. Rotting and leaking, front transfer case had internal damage and had cracked due to all the leaking. The car was recommended to be junked after only 6 months and I am still paying on it. I try to believe there is good in everyone but those that take advantage of those less fortunate I truly believe they will get their just rewards on judgment day. Bottom line. You may feel this is your only hope, your credit damaged, you may be poor..but you will be infinitely poorer and the emotional and financial pain you feel will after this experience is nothing to what you think you feel now. Stay away.

THE VALLEYS WORST USED CAR LOT!

Larry sells the junkiest cars around you would be better off going to the junkyard and picking up the most smashed up car there!!!!! The minute i stepped off the lot with my ""NEW"" car i regreted it First the check engine light came on then the abs light came on and we all know what that is The transmission! THIS USED CAR LOT IS THE WORST. HE SOLD ME A CRYSLER AND SAID THAT IS JUST NEED A 02 SENSOR THE CAR HAS ABOUT 4 CODES AND A MISSFIRE. NOW I CANT GET THE CAR INSPECTED. NEVER BUY A CAR NOT INSPECTEED EVER EVEN IF THEY COME DOWN ON THE PRICE ITS NOT A GOOD DEAL. NOW I HAVE KIDS AND THE CAR ISNT RELIABLE AND HE DONT CARE!

these people are the rudest went to see a car on5/2/11 at about 5:00pm had cash for car just was courious about financing salesman was a jerk about it had a attidue and i told my wife lets go and told him where to stick his car these people have no respect for there customers they are real moorons i would not sent a dog to that place so people keep your money in your pocket and dont go to these jerks

He is the worst person/dealer i have ever met. We tryed to buy a chysler lhs and he was selling it for 2795 but on line it said 2499 he told us that is how he gets customers to come in. When we aske a simple question on if it was wrecked because it was really scratched on the front he literally jumped down our throat he grabbed the plate and stormed in side and slammed the door.. We asked him what the lights in th... view moree front were and he said he wasnt sure he thinks the person who owned the car was putting somethingin well we did more research when we got home and found out they were fog lights that didnt work. It ran nice but it said power locks and they didnt work the hood would not stay up the battery was corroded the parking brake light stayed. It is in blue book for excellent codition at 1700 he would not budge on lowing the price he just had some smart remark to come back with like and i quote &quot;That is just some guy&quot; . And it leaked oil badly he said that was normal because it sat. Also we seen cars there inspected for oct. of 2011 which i thought that was illegal to have them inspected 6 mths advanced. Everything seemed shady about this guy and this place. So if your want to get messed with then this is the place to go if not please save your money because there are alot of better places and cars waiting for you to get.

Well, it`s not surprising knowing what kind of mechanic he employs. Randy is a low-life scoundrel who has a violent police record along with a grand theft warrant on him for stealing from a former repair shop employer in California. His mechanic is a pregnant woman beater and child abuser! That place is a bunch of BS

Larry is the most horrible salesman I`ve ever heard of. I had sent him an email because I was interested in a dodge intrepid of his on automart. I ran a carfax on the dodge and it had 14 reports on it. He tried to make me think that the only reason for the reports or because everytime you get an inspection or anything rather it is negative or positve will be reported. Then he said the dumbest thing,""I mean just because you read on the carfax that it has been in the shop 26 times doesn`t mean anything right?"" I almost flipped on him because I remembered emailing him that I am a single mother of 2 small children looking for a reliable car with a reasonable price and he had no interest in helping me with that. He is a liar and he clearly makes no sense. I mean who say just because a car has been to the shop 26 times doesn`t mean anything. Something is wrong with him. Then I told him that I didn`t have the full amount for the car and if he did financing. He said no he doesn`t do financing but he can sell me a car for the price of the amount I was trying to put down on the Dodge. So guys don`t let him fool you he is rediculous and the reason why it is so hard to trust any dealership. So please do not risk your life for a cheap car. Just get it up and pay more money for a better car (somewhere else that is).

After you read this, it will be your fault if you let them fool you out of your money

Before you purchase a Car from Larry and Sleepy Hollow Motors you must have an independent mechanic review the car. Even though the car had a current PA inspection sticker, the conclusion from this nationwide used car inspection company and its ASE certified mechaninc was that the car was unsafe to drive and had issuses with the brakes, suspension and transmission.
The worst part is that Larry is very aware of the... view more very bad condition of the cars he sells. I offered him a firm money backed commitment to buy any of more than 5 different models on his lot, if he would show me a positive inspection report by an independent ASE certified mechanic, and he refused (I did offer to reimburse the cost of the inspection after a positive review, I was not willing to pay again for an inspection on an unworhty car as I did the first time).
So he is very aware of the junk he is selling, and after you read this it will be your fault if you let him fool you and take your money.
