Don is so great at car repairs and so affordable, I travel from Germantown to South Philly.

Don has repaired several cars of several people in my family. He is very courteous and honest about what he can repair. When he gives you a quote of the repair cost, you can depend on it being no higher 99.9% of time.

Finally an honest and competent auto shop

This place is a gem. I have been through so many mechanics in the past 15 years that basically I just figured it was part of their job to lie, mark up prices, and generally attempt to squeeze as much money out of the customer as possible.

That has all changed now that I found Don.

Don is always up front about what is wrong, the price, and what can be done and what needs to be done NOW. I will never go anywhere else ever. Servicing my car has become now a regular habit now that it isn`t a huge bill every time you take it in for an oil change. I highly reccommend this place - if you are going to the dealer for any work, STOP! Save your hard earned money and get it done by mechanics that actually know what they are doing and that actually care about your car and your patronage - take it to Dons. Grab a cheesesteak at Pat`s or Geno`s while you are waiting, you can afford it easily with the money you save at Dons.

Very honest and great service

The Don`s people were great about not just using the most expensive parts and doing unnecessary work. On top of that when they quoted me my price before the work, and the part ended up being much more than the estimate, they never raised the price on me. It`s pretty refreshing to find great mechanics in the city.

Don is the best. I know nothing about cars and he never takes advantage of that. His work is great quality, timely and he never tries to add unnecessary repairs to the list.
