I contacted the... view more corporate office and they told me to go to the shop to ""work something out"". I did that and the agreement we came to after being rudely talked to was that I would pay for half of the new o2 sensor and half the labor for them to install it. They were to pay the other half.
A week later my part arrived and I took the receipt back to them. The same manager that was there the first time was there when I went to get reimbursed. I asked if he remembered me he said yes. I explained how I bought the part for $101.56 and just wanted half paid back to me. He said they weren`t going to do that because they were going to buy the part. This was never discussed with me. I`m sure they would have got it cheap and charged me a good sum more for it in turn making more money off of me for something they broke and I shouldn`t have to pay for to begin with. Anyway, I started to say how this has been a week long ordeal and he said he was gonna deal with me and his boss would be there soon. I started to say all I want is $50 and I`ll be on my way. HE CUT ME OFF AND SAID ""GET THE HELL OUT OF MY STORE YOU A**HOLE"". I kinda laughed to myself in disbelief and asked his name. He said my name is Dave and I`m the manager. He threw his card at me and as I walked out he called me a jagoff. All this was done in the main waiting room while other customers were sitting there!
I called corporate again and they said he would be written up. They basically blamed me and said I shouldn`t have gone back to that store to get reimbursed. I received a check for half of the cost of the part a week later. At no point was I apologized to about anything. This was the absolute worst customer service that could be imagined from store management to the district manager all the way to their corporate office employees.
