great technicians, fair prices
I have been taking my cars to Bill at Lucille`s for 4 years and have always been very satisfied. I`ve had some really difficult to diagnose problems( 3 separate issues to be precise) that other garages had thrown in the towel on but Lucille`s kept at it, figured it out, fixed it, and charged me way less than what any other garage was going to charge me . They are on top of all the service bulletins and if they don... view more`t know what`s wrong they`ll find a way to learn about it and figure it out. They like what they do and it shows. I am confident that they will always be fair and honest with me. Thumbs up.

Does good work but it takes way too long
I agree with John, most of the time I take my car here it takes way to long. They are honest with telling you the type of work you need but I think they keep pushing cars back that need work, causing me to wait longer. One time they had my car for two weeks and never fixed it. But in their defense, they tried. I just needed a new car. I finally got a new used car. When I needed work done on this one, again, it took h... view moreim way too long. I can`t be without my car for weeks. I need my car to get to work. Not sure what the story is but if you need work done on your car, I`d go somewhere that can do work more efficiently. If you just need a quick job, take it to Lucille`s shop but wait for it. That way they won`t keep pushing your car back and they`ll have to fix it the same day. Wish I could find a reliable place that doesn`t make people wait so long.

I took my `85 Mercedes 190e to...
I took my `85 Mercedes 190e to this shop 3 weeks ago for a transmission rebuild. It took them a week just to look at my car and give me an estimate, which was expensive. I stuck with it however because this shop has a good reputation around the area. After 2 weeks there was still no progress on my car. The manager, Bill, told me they were having problems locating the parts even though the mercedes 190 series is one o... view moref the most popular models mercedes has ever made and the parts are very readily available. He re-assured me to be patient and said that the car would definitely be done within a week. 10 days later my car is still not ready and Bill is telling me they`re having problems getting the parts shipped out. It seems to me that they`re pushing my car back in order to do other work. The estimated completion of my car is now a week from today which will put the grand total over a month of work. I plan on perusing litigation against Lucille`s for lost wages and for the cost of my rental car. Steer clear of Lucille`s because they obviously are not the shop they used to be and do not know how to handle their work load.

Well, only had one experience with this shop. They had my 98 Chevy Blazer, and even though they had to deal with my warranty company I had it back in a week. I`m taking my grand am there next month!
