I took my car here twice already and have had great service, as far as the previous reviews in regards to the dog being at the business, he was very well behaved and I really didn`t even notice he was there. Doug treated me with great customer service and the entire staff was very efficient. If you are looking for an honest place to take your automobile this is it.

1. You`re dealing with an arrogant guy who likes to talk tough and smart aleck. Definitely not a way to talk to customers. 2. The work is questionable. They left a socket wrench on my pulley once. Another time they I noticed a vibration when I left. 2 days later the wheel fell off from them not tightening the lug nuts. Could have killed someone, and he denied that his guy would do that. 3. I was driving to Carlisle, PA ...

I was driving to Carlisle, PA on my way to the rehearsal for my son`s wedding. We pulled into a McDonald`s and as I was leaving the drive up window, my car quit - 3 hours from home on the fourth of July weekend, on a Friday afternoon at 3 PM and I needed to be at the rehearsal (another 45 minutes out) by 5 PM. Mr. Hammaker (Doug if my memory serves me right) did a wonderful job of fixing the car going to great lengths to get the necessary parts on that Saturday, July 3. He also came in on Sunday, July 4 to let me pick up the car so I didn`t have to make an extra 6 hour round trip. His rates were reasonable also. He sure was an answer to my prayers. I would highly recommend his business.

This USED TO be a good place t...

This USED TO be a good place to get advice and our auto work done. Prices were great, the work was done fast and there used to be very nice and knowledgeable people in the office and garage but then they quit. The worst was when my daughters car was inspected (in the parking lot) and was passed with a huge chunk of tire missing from the side (Is a new car and was taken to the dealer to see if tire was under warranty ... view morea few days BEFORE taken to Hammakers) I didn`t want to give a star rating above but had to for this to post!

Racing Weekend Saved!!!

We were going to a spirt car race and had a flat tire on our camper. We had AAA for our truck but not on the camper.Hammaker saved the day.He went out of he`s way to help us.There was a big mess of wires wrapped around the axle.We will never forget this day. Got to finish the racing weekend !!!

Terrible Customer Service

I had a horrible experience here. They quoted me a part at $56 dollars, took it to the shop 5 day`s latter they didn`t have the part in. When they found one it the cost was $102; of course they blamed the part store it couldn`t be incompetent staff. When I went in to pick up my car that I didn`t have worked on because I didn`t have the extra money ( I saved based on the quote) the owner and the staff treated me ho... view morerrible. The receptionist told me to SHUT UP, she was talking and the Owner yelled at me and said he did his best to find a part. I told him two part stores said they could get the part for $65-$75; he said I was lying they couldn`t do that. I had a second appointment scheduled for Friday of that week, before i left I asked them to cancel the appointment the receptionist stated she already did? They canceled me? I would never recommended this shop!! The owner has no concept of customer service and in recent economic hardship business owners should be aware more than ever that a happy customer returns for more!
