Ray`s Auto Repair has been serving all of its automotive repairs and towing services to the Milford and surrounding tri-state area for over ten years. In 1997, services began from a small hometown garage and customer clientele grew quickly. In 1998, the building located at 105 East Ann Street was purchased. Shortly thereafter, two bays were added on at the back of the parking lot to expand the business. In 1999, the towing and road service was underway with the purchase of a 1983 Chevy Wrecker. Shortly thereafter, more trucks were added to the fleet. Today we currently have a complete flatbed and wrecker service for light duty vehicles. Ray`s Auto Repair is a local family owned business founded in 1997 by Raymond A. Willis. He has full support from all of his family. His immediate family closely participates in the business. This includes his wife, Karin, daughters Brigette, Heidi, Dayna and Paige, and his mother Barbara. Their support is a fundamental factor with the demands of the business. We offer superior satisfaction with a high level of professionalism and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Employee meetings are held on a monthly basis which enables a team effort toward the every day operations of our business. Training is done through seminars, online courses and hands on classes offered by vendors and affiliates. It is our goal to achieve growth and professionalism by educating our employees with changing technologies to serve you better.

On Saturday 6-8-13, my car broke down in Milford, PA -- seven states from my home in GA. To make a very long story short, GEICO had my car towed to Ray`s Auto Repair. After two extra nights in a motel, Ray`s went to work on my car early Monday morning. They sent a car driven by a friendly lady to fetch me and my luggage from my motel. They were polite & professional. They replaced my dead starter b... view morey noon. $517. Made sense to me. Paid them & drove down the road to get gas before heading home. After filling up, I tried to start the car. All I heard was a horrible metal-ripping-metal sound from the engine -- which did not start. Called Ray`s. They sent a tow truck and retrieved me. They politely and professionally diagnosed the problem. Defective starter with a broken case. Not their fault, in my humble opinion. They replaced the defective starter ASAP. They didn`t waste any time on gushy apologies or excuses. Bad part. Replaced for free. That happens. We stand behind our work. We`re working on it now. I was on my way by 4 PM. No one is happy when a car breaks down -- especially when you`re hundreds of miles from home in a totally strange place. I am glad Ray`s worked on my car. They fixed it. Twice. But my car starts every time now. My guess is Ray`s lost money on my repair, through no fault of their own. The part was defective, not their work or attitudes. One reviewer said you should not go there. I disagree. From my experience, this is the kind of place you should pray you find when you break down ... seven ... states ... from home. RJSutherland

DO NOT GO THERE!!!! SHODDY WORK, RELEASES CARS IN UNSAFE CONDITION, HAS POOR WORK ETHICS. HAD MY CAR SERVICED FOR A TRIP, GOT AS FAR AS VIRGINIA IN A STORM ON I 95 AND THE OIL LIGHT GOES ON GET OFF THE HIGHWAY AND THE ENGINE CUTS OUT. THERE WAS NO OIL. A COP HAD TO PUSH US OUT OF THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND HE CALLED A TOW TRUCK. THE WHOLE THING WAS A NIGHTMARE!!! I went to Rays today for the first time for an inspection on my mini van. They took me in even though i didn`t have an appointment. I would definitely recommend them to anyone ! Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. They are very down to earth and are not out to make a killing off of you by telling you that your vehicle need costly repairs that it actually doesn`t. I bought a jeep off craigslist...

I bought a jeep off craigslist.It was inspected so i asked the gentlemen who works on it.He said,Rays,I said ok.Before buying it,I called rays and talked to the owner.Asked him about the jeep if it would be a good vehicle,and was there any problems.He said,Its ok.So i purchased the vehicle.Didnt drive it much.But,was concerned about the front end it made a knocking sound.THATS WHY I CALLED RAY FIRST.Now,I bring it in... view more for inspection,Needs all kinds of front end work.Track bars, control arms,exhaust.Approx 800.00 for repair,They said the arms were rusted,That just doesnt happen overnight,I believe he told this gentleman to dump it.I also believe he knew his father and just passed it.So his kid could dump it,Because it should not have been inspected like it was,I guess it who you know in milford.Its going to be reported to the inspection bureau.I believe they knew of these problems from the start,Theres NO way the whole front end rusted out since he inspected it last.

I found the folks at Ray`s to be extremely honest. I already knew what was wrong with my truck before taking it in, and I would have fixed it myself if I had the time, but I just don`t. Of course, I didn`t let them know that I knew what was wrong because that would have spoiled all the fun! Frankly, I was a first time customer and wanted to test them. Well, I?ˆ™m happy to report they passed with flying colors! The... view morey pinpointed the issue, told me exactly what was wrong, and at no point tried overselling me. They pointed out some wear and tear issues, but that`s expected. I?ˆ™ve been to shops over the years that didn`t pass my devious tests, so Ray`s is a-ok in my book! Their pricing for parts and labor is fair as well. It?ˆ™s always cheapest to do it yourself, but if you need to see a mechanic, I wouldn?ˆ™t hesitate going to Rays.

The staff at Ray`s go above and beyond. I had a remarkable experience dealing with them during a less-than-easy repair job on my VW Jetta. They make sure the vehicle is PERFECT when you get it back. Karin has impeccable customer service skills, I never had to chase her down for an update on my car. She was in constant contact. Mike is an amazing mechanic.
